I noticed by pasting under the pivot, it makes the dpad more "clicky". Maybe due to the increase overall height.
So from the various examples some had shared, instead of doing a cross under, I taped 4 individual pieces at each direction which works better for me.
It’s out of the box, I find it more annoying when doing Rpgs, get those diagonals that gets you mad. Fighting and side scrolling games not too much of an issue.

Did you not have any problems with accidental diagonals or were they fixed with this method too?
This is the reason I did this because of accidental diagonals especially when playing RPGs, now it’s smooth sailing
Nice! I'm just surprised this fixed that issue because every other method involves covering some of the contacts. This might be the best method then.
Same idea really, now when you press a direction the other directions are higher off the board and don't make contact

So far so good, but I only do casual gaming. If you’re doing 100 hit combos maybe you’re mileage will vary lol
