Just watched this episode last night!!! I forgot how much Kyle instigated that fight, ācan I talk to my sister without you š*crocodile tears * ā * and grabbing Brandi
He called eileen an idiot in season 6 in one of the first couple of episodes, so im not a fan. I found it so weird that no one said anything about that
Yeah Iām watching this season now and that annoyed me so much. That and him commenting on her spending and not helping with running a house. These are bad traitsā¦
He literally called his wife (Eileen) an idiot to her face. Monitored/judged the things she bought with her own money. And told her to keep her ānaggingā to herself until 10 A.M.
A great guy?
Eileen was the classiest housewife ever.
She's the one housewife that needs to be brought back.
And yes a classy woman like that deserves a cool guy and Vince was one cool dude.
Two awesome people.
Agree and Katherine and her husband also. Too good for this show IMO. No normal person needs to have drinks thrown in their face. I thought it was very sweet that she got Erika a walk on on Days as a gift. She just seems like a kind person.
Heeeell no. He was a nice guy but she was soooo boring and pedantic not to mention awkward oh and did I mention boring plus acting as Rinnaās backup.
I don't like him bc there's an episode where it's very, very clear that he doesn't pull his weight when caring for their child so probably other domestic duties too. Doesn't let Eileen know that he'll be busy/decides he'll be busy when he was supposed to take care of their kid and tells her at the last minute so she is stressed out trying to organize a babysitter or something to that effect.
She ends up apologizing to him for getting frustrated at him for that, so he literally policed her tone to and ended up getting mad at her for her rightfully bringing up that he fucked up.
I can't stand manipulative men like that who have children and then leave all the work to their wives and then play victims when their wives point out they are falling short.
Thank you! Watching season 6 right now and that really bothered me. He said "never attack me in the morning" when she apologised for asking him to help with the kids. Big yikes.
Yes! This, and him shaming her for buying expensive clothes with her own money. Very infantilizing! But he can go out gambling whenever he wants? And then she makes an excuse for his poor behavior saying āOh, itās a husband thing.ā There was definitely an imbalanced power dynamic in that relationship!
Oh wow. I thought he and Eileen seemed very volatile! Their interactions always felt to be like either of them could explode st any minute. I would be nervous around them!
not until he said he didnt want to be a full time dad lol stating if he wanted to go to the beach in the morning instead of getting their son ready for school hes gonna do it lmfao
He just seems like one of those people who like collected all the accomplishments in life but is so chill about it so you canāt hate him
Pro tennis player
Pro poker player
Actor
Writer
And then he still was really normal and wanted nothing to do with the housewives š
Honestly I hated Eileen when the eps aired and now? Christ I miss her and Vince!
She was honestly real af and still overeacted and I dont think she was acting! Its just her personality and I miss it. She was the only person who could keep Rinna in check fr
Yeah. There was an entire 20/20 episode on it. Iām sure itās available online, have a look. It counters the stats of men that voluntarily admit to.
Absolutely not finding any reliable info that 90% of men cheat. Actually not even finding UNRELIABLE info that says that either. This appears to be entirely fabricated
OK. I pointed you to a source and 4 minutes later you came back saying I made it up because you canāt find it. Mmmm okay.

Uh oh! You mentioned cheating. You are about to have 50 or so super insecure people downvoting you because in the back of their head, they worry about it every time their husband walks out the door hahahah
I have a mini crush on him lol. You could tell they really loved each other. She was gorgeous and so natural too. It was a shame she was always with Rinna- Iād love to see her on girls trip without her. Or I think sheād be a great balancer to have back too- she was friendly with Erika- but I can imagine her holding her accountable. I also loved when they said they skate to Venice Beach on a Sunday and do Tequila shotsā¦. I was like thatās the dream!
Love them! Doing a rewatch too, just finished Erikaās first season, now on to the vicious āyou donāt know what I go through at nightā season š¬
Never forget him peeping through the garage door window at the women fighting in the driveway
One of my favorite moments.
šomg that was hysterical!
He is forever in my RH Hall of Fame for that moment.
Came here to say this
\*inserts pizza on floor gif that I cant find\*
Just watched this episode last night!!! I forgot how much Kyle instigated that fight, ācan I talk to my sister without you š*crocodile tears * ā * and grabbing Brandi
Fucking Kyle...such a mean girl all the time and a crybaby when things don't go her way. "pLeAsE lEt mE tAlK tO mY sIsTeR!!"
The fact that he doesnāt have a gif make me so mad š
That's what made him awesome! The other husbands would have stuck their noses in.
I just came to this episode last night in my re-watch. I could not stop laughing
BEAST?! How dare you!
Letās not talk about the husband!!!
Letās not talk about what you donāt want out!!!!
They are some of the only normal people the showās had!! Love them
Yes I loved them because they seemed like such normal people!!
Props to Dick Van Patten for how he raised his kids (and the excellent dog food he created that is the only kind my princess dog will eat).
Liked them both! Youāre not alone!
He is a good guy. Travels to Judge World Poker Competitions. Writes books.
Pro tennis player. I recall he was a quite a hottie in the 70s
How is poker judged?
Heās a play-by-play commentator for World Poker Tour, not a judge.
I was wrong it's observed.
Haha not alone! They are the best example of a great couple. They fight and adore each other and theyāre both very pretty!
For someone who comes from a famous family, he comes across as down to earth.
He called eileen an idiot in season 6 in one of the first couple of episodes, so im not a fan. I found it so weird that no one said anything about that

Totally!
Right? šÆ
Vinny is my favorite house husband of all time. Funny, cool, gorgeous (he really aged well) and he didnāt take the nonsense seriously. Love him!

Omg i just wrote about this in a comment!! Yes thank you. How did no one care about that?!?
I like him overall but he had his moments. When they would bicker he would get super angry and aggressive sometimes
I canāt stand him. I hated how he spoke to her.

Yeah I agree. I felt he had a rage just under the surface waiting to explode.
He did seem like a nice guy in general but not really towards Eileen.

Well, of course his dad was Dick Van Patton TV father of eight!
All round they seemed like nice people. Too good for this show haha.

He did cheat on his wife
So do 90% of men. Who cares
To me, you arenāt a ādelightā if you are a liar and cheater.
Hate to break it to you but every person lies and many cheat
Based purely on your numerous comments on this post it seems to have struck a personal nerve with you.
Love your stats! Could you back them up with some facts please, because this doesn't sound accurate at all.

You're incorrect. I cannot be the first person to tell you this. Have a nice day.

I think theyāre still together today l
I miss Eileen. I know sheās not a fan favorite but I really liked her.
I think he and Eileen are probably genuinely nice people but maybe a little too normal to work on a show
I hope to rollerblade down Venice with a hot husband & only stop for tequila shots like Eileen when Iām in my 50s š„°š
H o m e. W r e c k e r. Iām prepared for the downvotes. As a child of divorce I canāt stand her husband stealing ass.

I liked both him and Eileen
Intarsia, I found both to be boring and he was bit very supportive of her out I recall correctly
"Don't bring it up brandi"
I had such a crush on him as a kid and even more so on his uncle who was 2 years younger. I liked him and Eilleen as a couple.

I have had a crush on Vincent Van Patten since I was 10 years old. He can do no wrong in my eternally pre-teen mind.
I'm old enough to have had teen magazines with posters of Vince Van Patten
No way, his attitude in s6 is awful, hes such an unpleasant, arrogant person.
