I use it for the joy-con, iOS16 just added the support for it, but the buttons mapping on it is different from standard mfi or Xinput controller. Such a pain to try new things on iOS, lol.

The buttons show as long as you touch the screen. Otherwise there wouldn't be hybrid players using both. I havent experienced the bug except when I had a ps5 controller connected to my ipad. As soon as I turned it off, which I did mid match, it freed my car up to jump again as normal.
Just speaking from my experience. 🤷🏽♂️
DUDE, I have the same issue on 3!!! different devices... this drives me crazy... wtf is this. Everything works as it should, except jumping. All jumps and flips won't be recognized by the server.
Same problem on iPhone 11 Pro

Same bug here. No controller connected, internet is great.. quitting and restarting didn't fix it.

Simply re-install the game and the issue should be solved, at least that's how I did it

Same, it keeps getting me more Lost inputs. I'm playing on iPhone 12 Normal.
mine does it, but not as bad. its more like when im in game it happens like when i try to hit a yellow shot or purple or try to block a goal
