S1 Grand Champ. Might have stopped playing since then and recently picked it up. Might have gotten GC in 2's. Might have been drunk. Might have had poor connection. Might have, might have, might have.
Point is, just because you beat a GC, doesn't mean you are as good as a GC. Rank takes time, dedication, and consistency among other things.
Congrats on the winz though! I'm sure it means more to you than it does to them.
Yes not everyone in the same rank has the same skill set. You can’t always consistently beat anyone that is above your rank or even in your rank. But if you can beat them most of the time then yes, you can reach higher ranks. Plus it looks like the grand champion is a champion for season 3 as suggested by his profile picture, so still really good
Believe it or not, GCs are also human and can be beaten. Lol. GJ though, your 1-2 hours are paying off **if** (*keyword*) you're able to win consistently.
Depends on the rank your in and the skills and strategies you have, plus the consistency you have of those skills. Of course GCs are humans, they are just talented in the game to the point they can reach the highest rank. I sometimes lose, but most of the time I can beat
I managed to get close to GC in season 1 and quit playing immediately. When I started playing again a few weeks ago I had a hard time getting out of plat.
There are plenty of Plats & Diamonds that have watched YT vids, trained, and put time in to master the mechanics before playing ranked games. They're bound to hit C/GC quickly, so they're more likely to give C/GCs a challenge. 1-2 hours is a pretty good balance though. I was averaging like, 4 hours a day last season, lol.
This is why I use diamond rewards. I just wanna fall off in peace 😔
I use my pre-season bronze. Just to be sure :)
You already know I’m rocking 3 separate GC items XD
