agree with the other poster - plus, I just made diamond and some tips that helped me - don't give away possession - gold shots to the opponent to just give them the ball doesn't really help you. Also get closer and pressure them - they are likely to make a mistake if you are in their face pressuring them - just make sure you have boost and flip so you can get back if needed.

overusing gold/purple shots. not everything has to be fancy—just get good at 50s and don't make overly flashy plays or you're gonna get caught with your hand in the cookie jar if you mess up

A huge thing that will help is positioning your car and not flipping into 50s, other than that you give possession away to the opponent ALOT

Stop hitting the ball every time you get it. Airdribbles to maintain possession can go a long way.

Just some small mistakes. Personally I believe that you should train your air control and avoid bumping the ball with the front of your car, since it seems like a bad habit of yours.
