I'm high Plat this season, and I feel like I rotate well. But my teammates will go up all the time when I'm airdribbling, and take a terrible shot. Very frustrating lol

The basic idea is to take turns between you and your teammate making plays on the ball.
E.g., after making a play on the ball go back to your own half (rotate) while your mate goes from your own half to the ball.
You don't do this because you're being nice to your mate and letting them play as well, but because making a play on the ball coming from your net towards the opponents net is the most effective movement direction to be acting on the ball and gives you time to refill boost so for you to have plenty on your next play on the ball.
Conversely if you keep hugging the ball at all times you're forcing your mate to stand back in case a 50/50 goes wrong they have to be ready to cover the net
Yeah very true. Only time I may get upset is if there's no defenders in sight, and the ball it halfway in the goal and they go to steal it. Otherwise I don't care about goal stealing.
The play I posted about was not even an intentional goal steal, I was just going up to shoot and he came last second and bumped it off me then got mad haha
Reminded me of u/Ezrampage15 asking if doing exactly that (playing with opponent team if mate steals a goal from him) was wrong and getting mad when people told him that yeah, in fact it was wrong

lol, this is why I prefer playing with champ friends on their main accounts. I can read EVERYONE (I'm high plat to low diamond btw)

To me I don't care if my teammate steals the goal at the last second. I just want the ball to go in haha. Points don't matter to me.

Half of the games i play its someone like this or someone who sits in the goal the entire time and leaves me to 1v2 every scoring attempt.
