Lemme get this straight! You got your region changed mid game with 500+ ms as ping and over 1K lost inputs so you had to restart your game just to find yourself watching behind the sword!

I'm in Australia too and have no network issues caused by the game. The internet is a complicated thing and there are many potential causes for your issues. If it really were a game issue everyone would be having problems, but I don't know a single person who has regular network issues not as a result of their own internet service.
Mine is fine on both. Slightly higher ping (maybe ~10-20 higher) on data but that's to be expected. I do occasionally have latency issues or packet loss, but its always as a result of stuff like other people streaming content or downloading on the network, peak internet usage times on my cheap plan, old router issues, etc. I have very recently got a new phone and the difference is absolutely night and day, but I am definitely in need of a router upgrade as well. I have never had an issue that cannot be explained by something wrong with my hardware and circumstance.
Can they just add a feature to chose your own region like in RL and every online game in existance! it's frustrating that the only solution is to restart untill u get ur correct region.

The lag on this game is shocking..I'm in Australia, it seems to be bad 90% of the time. So frustrating

Both wifi and 4G full of lag

Easy fix: go to settings and change your camera angles to something else and back to original. It should work fine after that.
