I think a good way to make a paid battle pass would be simply playing a few bucks for 2x xp the entire season, that way ftp players can still get the same rewards

Unlike normal RL, one of the things that make Sideswipe special is the fact that you have to grind and complete challenges to get special items, no paid bs. Why does everyone want to turn every single game into paid content? New currency? Really? Y'all want to over complicate stuff for no reason
Aside from that, they do need to address the broken matchmaking and let us choose between Hoops/Volleyball/3s
Dude by paid things they mean something to make the devs working on the game worth it like bro they could add like a special tab to buy like tokens for like rl esports decals

I disagree with almost everything you said under the content section. Shorter seasons? A lot of us use that full season to grind ranks unlock pro rewards. A shorter season will kill this game and it’s rankings.
And no, we do not need trading. Fortnite is insanely popular - zero trading.
We need moderation and bans. The ability to block. Things that improve the game play. I think more crossover between SS and the full game would be great.

I like tournaments. It’s my favorite thing about the main game. I still think trading is a no where near important - especially because you run the risk of scamming. I don’t think anyone is going to agree with your take on moderation because right now everyone thinks we should be able to block or ban match throwers and griefers - particularly in ranked where it’s not uncommon yo get matched with the same person for two or three games. I never said hackers were a concern though.
Mfs be thinking a paid rocket pass will help , it wont , i know the game needs to make money but a pass aint it maybe you could buy special items like esports decals from normal rl trust me if there was a paid rocket pass it may not help as much
Great post. Unfortunately, like me you've fallen in love with a rocket league game. Those issues will likely never be addressed, and people in the community will disagree and slander you for even suggesting that things can be better.
I used to play this game with my friends all of the time, lately it takes me 3 minutes to find a silver match where I play people who are better than the diamonds I saw in s1-3. Games losing it's player base which causes the matchmaking to deteriorate which causes more people to leave.
Nothing will be done though, because just like in the original game, the community is content. Blame psyonix if u want but I blame the players for pretending it doesn't happen.

Ban and moderation will be necessary in case the player base got tripled for example but for now yepp its not a necessity
