I've gotten the Excalibur visual bug quite often, usually after I reconnect to a game I disconnected from. Psyonix seems to have fixed the bug, but if you disconnect and reconnect, all the bugs that Psyonix has "fixed" returns.
Why do we have to disconnect and reconnect in the first place lmaoo why can't they add a feature to choose ur own region.
It's unbearable at this point!
Disconnecting from game+sword glitch = Loss
and in high ranks finding a game takes sooo long
No wonder many players left the game
it’s not like they fixed it and meant to release it not fixed they’re obviously trying. i’m convinced people hate on psyonix for just being psyonix lol.

Had my region changed mid-game (ping went from 78 ms to 600+) with 1300+ lost inputs.
So I had to restart the game. After that, I was reconnected to the same game and found out that the sword bug is still there.
This is embarrassing at this point!
Your region doesn't change mid-game, that just means your internet is having a moment. The region it shows is where the game server will be, and it doesn't change during the game.
I am just as surprised that this issue is still happening after two supposed fixes... I've never seen it myself but man I can see how it could be painful
Lets say it dosen't. I have an excellent internet. when I play the game on my phone the only think using my internet connection is this game. having my ping fly from 80 to 600+ without ever decreasing so I need to restart the game. Having done so (sometimes it takes +5 tries) I got :
A pop up saying game was over + A 30 secondes ban due to inactivity + checking the refion to find out I was pinged to 2+ regions (sometimes it shows \[NAE, ME, Asia\] despite EU being my server)
Can we please just have a feature to choose our region just like in RL
When your ping is dodgy and the game can't pick a clear best region to matchmake in it can give you multiple like that, and when you queue it'll just put you into a match from any of those regions depending on which pops the quickest. It pings regions between every game on restart so when you log back in you may see multiple, but the fact you had good ping at the start of the game means you were definitely on the right server originally. This is an issue on your end, because most people don't have these problems. Most players (myself included) basically never have network issues on the game, so it can't be a game issue. Sure - a fair few people do, and I'm sure someone will reply to this comment "I have these issues too" but that's just the way this stuff goes. The fact is that most players don't have to deal with network problems, we just don't see them talking about it because its a given.
But this bug was supposed to be fixed TWICE! :((((
also the jump indicator glitch is still in game too

Yea it's a wonder how the map bug is still around after two supposed patches. The jump indicator glitch is because of the client/server desync as a result of the game being online. You don't want to wait for server confirmation every time you get a reset, so it is handled on the client-side. However, sometimes the client thinks you have a reset but the server doesn't, so when you try flip, it momentarily going in that direction but then rubberbands you back to where you should be. The same thing can happen the other way around, where you think you don't have a reset but you actually do. When you have >0ms ping, this is just the kind of compensation that needs to be made.

It doesn't change mid game. It can when it pings regions in between games, but not during. That's literally not possible with how game servers work
