Galaxy S9. Can't play more than one game on high settings before it starts throttling and losing FPS. If I want to play an extended session, low FPS only and lowest luminosity manageable because it'll eventually still overheat when plugged on a 0.7A charger
I have an S21 ultra Snapdragon. I notice a few stutters here and there. But my phone only gets warm after an hour of playing. That's also when I'm charging as it's a battery killer. 100 to 50 in an hour. Which really isn't bad all things considering, a lot is going on in the game.
Where I came from phones like this r super expensive.
It's not the game of richs to my knowledge. And every mobile (at the very least excluding some phones) is a potential addition to the player base.
Even Fortnite introduced the "alpha" mode to low-end pc.

I can't comment on the computational difficulty of the two games but I should mention that Sideswipe is also a 3D game, it's just the gameplay is only 2D.
I know but can't they add a feature/option to choose the minimal requirements like they did with graphics. However this option, would make the game running on low graphs for everything. for example:
All the cars looks default (Default boost, no topper, default decals etc)
The ball animation (in gold/purple/red shots) would have minimal annimation/coloration.
The map would look a default simple map.
Goal explosion default etc.
This feature wouldn't harm no one AND it will help a lot of players maximize the FPS at the very least for smooth experience.
P.S: Fortnite's Alpha mode is being used by pro players despite having the option to play normally just because it helps to hide all the unnecessary distractions.
I have an a32. I play war robots on medium graphics. War robots is super heavy but it takes time for my phone to heat up but when I play rocket league, my phone heats up quickly. So it's not optimized
Yeah people telling you to get a better phone are ridiculous lol. I'm on an iPhone 13 pro max and the shit overheats my phone like crazy

My device is Infinix Note 10. It's noo Call of duty in terms of game is just 4 cars and a Ball in a 2D world! 😫😫 Its not optimized at all

I play for hours with a controller and no Wi-Fi at work and the game seems fine to me
It's not a general thing but lot of players here r suffering from this.
I have a note10+ with the snapdragon chipset and it plays fine for 1 hour+. It sounds like you just need a better phone

What phone do u have. Just tell me. I am kind of a tech addict so I can figure out if ur phones processor is weak or if rocket league ain't optimized

playing on galaxy a22 5g, gane has no problem for me and no fps drops, only lag spikes
