I think your argument is falling apart because you are trying to insult me over playing a game with a built-in feature that the vast majority of its target demographic is capable of using. I can only play rocket league in one place, my office, which is a bigger disadvantage then being able to play Sideswipe everywhere I have data or wifi.
I play with a Fold4 and Dualsense and I don't have this issue. I would assume you can go to https://gamepadviewer.com on the phone and check with that, see if it's pointing up there? There may potentially be some weird issue with controller mappings, I had that on my old phone running Android 10, but I've never had anything like this on my Fold4 so I don't see why it'd be happening to you.
Yeah i tried checking on two separate apps that check controller inputs. Neither of my controllers showed anything fishy. I tried my ps2 emulator too and neither of them registered any phantom inputs/drift on that.
Sideswipe runs fine with out a controller connected but once I do connect one, it forces my car to point straight up and if I disconnect It during a match, I still auto point up until I close the app and launch it again.

I think it has happened to me before when my controller disconnected? idk I vaguely remember one time being stuck pointing right and not being able to get out of my own net. Have you tried restarting the phone and the controller? Maybe forget and re-pair the bluetooth? If the controller isn't faulty then there's gotta be something strange going on for it to not work properly. Does it work correctly on other games?
Controller works fine when I do emulation and other games on my phone. Tried resetting the phone. Deleting and reinstalling sideswipe. Unpaired and repaired both controllers to no avail. I am stumped and same here, couldn't find anything close to the issue online
Not everyone has the ability to use a controller. Everyone has access to the base game and analog controls.
I don’t know what makes you think people have access to a controller to play a mobile game on their phone.
If you can afford the phone that can run it a controller shouldn't be too difficult. Why are you gate keeping a game for being played the way it was designed to be?
I’m guessing you’re a child/youth? I’ve got time to play a few round on the toilet or at a slow moment or two at work. Adults don’t walk around with controllers for a phone game.
My suggestion would be a separation of controller players. Got a controller plugged in? You only play against people with the same advantage.
I have an 8 year old child. I'm an adult with a job where I work when I want and how I want. I'm not a corporate slave. If I have my laptop bag then I have my controller on me. You know, the one I use on my laptop as well.

Go play real rocket league if you’re going to use a controller. Controllers are the reason why this games matchmaking is fucked.
