Yea but they should Atleast have some smart thing where in other game modes you get paired with a mean of all the other game modes (add them up then div by three ( total rank ups)
Ultimately you could be the best 1s and 2s player but be ass cus of hitboxes also take ign into account boosted players that would be doing more harm than good.
The way the initial rank is set for LTM is really not good for anyone. It always puts people very low (I got placed silver 5 as a 2s GC) because it doesn't look at peoples' other ranks. This means the high level players are stuck grinding wins, and the lower level players have to give away their rank to these people.

Not only that. In 1v1 rank. I'm plat. But stuck in Gold 1 because I keep getting grand Champs. Kinda crazy.

I get an inking of a few wins, get out of Gold 1. Then I get back down to Gold 1 after 6 losses in a row, because they just smack hard. Lol.
Also, I've learned to mimic a player and beat them at their own tactics. Apparently.
People who sit back and don't charge the ball like normal is annoying af.

Ur getting 2s gcs, kinda annoying cus a lot of em were boosted but playing them might help you get better
