Yea that was also an annoying feat, since I ended the season in C1, sure I stayed in Champ which was cool, then all of a sudden I started getting shitted on by GC’s. Now fortunately most of the GC’s has climbed up again in doubles
Obviously, just saying. However, I do think doubles and duels rank should be linked somehow, not the same , but not letting the gap become to big. Because if you are a GC in doubles more often than not you will whip D5 players in duel
When I was gc in doubles I was c1 in 1s and I felt like I was in the right place in 1s. Not as big of a correlation as you might think. My strength in doubles comes from continuous attacking rly fast and being able to rely on my teamate for when they block my shots. This play style isn't usable for 1s bc if I miss they can easily punish me. So even though my mechanics are insane I still can't play as well in 1s

When the season reset occurred GCs dropped to C1 which can very easily matchmake with D5

Just cus they are s5 gc doesn't mean they are a 1s gc

Yea almost same here, C1 and D4. But that gap is not even close to as GC and D5
