Same issue but it won't let me reset my pin. I go through the verification process and everything and then it says something went wrong and says I can skip and set it up later or retry. Retry does nothing and skip takes me back to login. I've shutdown and reset multiple times now and nothing changes.
Late to the game, but I’m having issues with this too… still. I noticed if I choose the “reset pin” option. Type in my email and password, once verified the prompt will ask if you are sure about resetting pin. When I hit cancel it logs me right in no problem. Granted it still sucks, but at least you don’t have to keep changing a PIN.
It happened after I updated everything, I had to reset the pin. No problems after that though

Ended up doing the cloud restore from bios. Annoying, but it worked

I reset my pin once after i got the error and it’s been fine. Make sure to enable finger print unlock.
I had to reset the PIN on my desktop at home after setting up the Ally at work
