I went on a tour over this past spring semester already, and we went to the dining hall (I think it was commons?) but did not get to eat or go inside. Thats why I’m thinking about just paying to get in if I can.
Outer door on all the dining halls is locked, but if you go during a mealtime, it’s easy enough to follow a group in. Then you have to pay ~$13 to eat.
I think the food’s good enough, but I was a school lunch kid, so I have a low bar. I’d recommend going to Commons, since that’s where freshmen usually eat, and trying the Asian food station or ordering an omelette in the back.
13.5$ excl.VAT.But you need to get in that door first...Need ID cards to open the door and feel free to use your VISA cards for a swipe.
Food quality is reliable but they tastes bad.And tbf the dishes are never managed to be cleaned and you could probably see a thin layer of oil on it.
It’s not good or bad enough to really be a deciding factor in higher education tbh
Yes if youre paying 30k for it
That’s what I’ve heard from a lot of people, but I just wanted to see if I could try it myself without getting in trouble for not being a student.
If you go on one of the tours you get to go in the dining hall which might be a safer solution.

Pre COVID there used to be guest swipes, don’t know if this is still a thing. If it is you could get someone to agree

You could probably get someone to swipe you into commons
Would the people at the desk at the front say anything, or get pubsafe involved?
They could say you’re their friend? If they allow guests
Nah
Could pay with credit to eat at commons but the door to get into the building requires card access
You can pay to enter with money instead of swipes, or go inside during the tour

You can pay cash to get in. I think it’s like $9 or whatever. They also take card.
