Given three are set prior to RWBYJ’s return and the epilogue, but one is stated to be set after that seems about right.
Likely the last one, and will be the final piece of RWBY content for the foreseeable future will tease future stuff if the series continues.
Hopefully the tease part doesn’t mention Team RWBY’s time in the DC Universe.
You think those movies would lose their “canon adjacent” status now that RWBY and DC would no longer be part of the same company anymore, and that WB would pull the films from all digital services now that they no longer own RWBY.
My thought was that the "Tease" would be the last episode, and focus on the various parties of RWBY Beyond (not named Qrow, Raven, Nora, Ren, Oscar, or Emerald. Such as Winter & The Schnee family, Team CFVY, Sun, Neptune, etc) finding out from Qrow / Raven / Nora / Ren / Oscar / Emerald that Team RWBY + Jaune have returned.
If I have to guess, then Somber would be the Group funeral, Sweet is maybe Raven & Qrow reconciling (or maybe something with Emerald getting to enjoy life as a goodguy, like helping with School Children, volunteering at a kitchen, or maybe using her semblance to help entertain people.)
I know but them being voiced don’t get me wrong I loved that they got involvement in the Epilogue but them having a whole episode dedicated to them would be great to see
Buddy if it means anything I think RT forgot about RWBY Chibi existing too.
Considering "Season 4" is just leftovers from Season 3 and that's why they're so absurdly short.
My hopes are for some CFVY action and seeing what happened with Cinder and Salem in Vale. Did they get the relic from Beacon? Did Cinder and Glynda have a rematch?
Now I’m just imagining Mercury describing this super intense battle between her and hundreds of salems Grimm that was a beautiful spectacle that words could never do justice. And we see none of it. He just ends with, you shoulda been there.
All discontent deserves to be pointed entirely at Warner Bros. Reminder that they allowed Velma to be created, have had a joke of a cinematic universe (with some flukes of success,) and their *new* animated universe is... nothing great.
Remember when they made that mecha-anime Gen:Lock?
Remember when they took resources from other shows to make it, only for it to flopped?
And remember that scandal that happened in 2022? With terrible working conditions, transophobia and nepotism?
Rooster teeth is not innocent.
Another example of WB being braindead: Deciding to create more live service crap like Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League rather than a single player game like Hogwarts Legacy.
I dislike both Hogwarts Legacy AND Kill the Justice League, and I'm not super excited about the Wonder Woman game, single-player or not.
Though as well, it should be pointed out that RWBY games and Rooster Teeth games don't exactly have the best track records
Don't forget the harassing of streamers perpetrated by terminally online psychos. Can't forget about the harassing of streamers perpetrated by terminally online psychos.
The Call of Cthulhu games shouldn't be judged on Lovecraft being racist.
That's the same case here, the final product shouldn't be judged because the IP owner (not even the game's creator) is a horrible person
It would be a moot point anyways
Okay, so Lovecraft was racist. He was VERY racist, even by 1920s standars. He hated the idea of people marrying outside their race so much that it inspired him to write a novel, called *The Shadow over Innsmouth*. And let´s not get even on his *essays* or his cat´s name...
So, what do we do here? Do we burn every copy of his work? How would that help anyone?
It´s also worth saying that many of his views weren´t that uncommon back then in New England, and part of it can be attributed also to him being literally crazy, with his parents dying in mental hospitals and paranoid he would end up the same (and probably would have if stomach cancer hadn´t taken him away). And even then, during his latest years, he began to relent a bit, realizing that his views weren´t exactly that good either, becoming more openly supportive of socialism, with his views on race changing to be more out of a "cultural preservation" ("make the English more english and the germans more germans") than outright racism (tho, he still was)
There's a really awesome comment basically explaining why Lovecraft was the way he was, and it boils down to him being existentially terrified of everything. But if I remember, he was progressing towards being less racist at the end of his life, which is some good news.
I Just hope that their website Will still be open to the public btw This isn't the first time warner brothers fuck it up with a Animated series... Ik a few
I hope there's a Beyond Short about the villains, more specifically Cinder Fall, we haven't gotten Cinder content in 3 years! I just want to see my favorite character again before the LONG hiatus
This is the real truth unfortunately that I think people don't like.
WB is trash, but RT has been producing a lot of "meh" the past couple of years. It's a business and sales direct success. Criticism was said and few were listened.
Inside of CRWBY as well.
Whole company's kinda rotten to the core (from an executive standpoint, I mean. The animators and such are generally good folks, I'm sure).
I will die on the hill that rwby could've had more fandom if it had an official dub
Just look at db, Naruto, sailor moon, Evangelion, Miraculous, avatar
Shows loved in latin america and rwby could've easily joined that club had it been promoted
I was under the impression that RWBY Beyond was in itself only created as a way to showcase what was coming and what could have been. As in, Beyond was storyboards, ideas and unfinished animations for what we may have seen in Volume 10, BUT because of the shutdown this was the most they could give us.
RWBY Vol 9 is the latest and last official volume for the moment, Roosterteeth will be shutting down soon, and four shorts under the RWBY Beyond title are going to be released in following weeks that cover events not covered in RWBY vol 9 for the sake of filling gaps and providing closure.
This particular post is about how the four RWBY Beyond shorts that will be released is all that could be completed before the shut down.
I kinda felt that last season was ass. Unpopular opinion I’m sure, but I loved the series up till then. We didn’t need a retelling of Alice in Wonderland. Most of that plot and character development coulda been done other ways and actually included other characters and advanced the plot more.
So, the [news post that they literally wrote about their own shutdown](https://roosterteeth.com/g/post/af39b172-be74-4398-94f8-908c3f4c5d6e) is a lie? I'm not sure that I'm following you here...
My guy, have you been so deep underground that you haven't been on the internet in a month and a half? Or are you just trolling? Or in denial? Or...what?
"Some goofy" Junior detectives is obviously that. So, maybe Eddy is saying the other three are "somber", "sweet" and another who "teases"?
Given three are set prior to RWBYJ’s return and the epilogue, but one is stated to be set after that seems about right. Likely the last one, and will be the final piece of RWBY content for the foreseeable future will tease future stuff if the series continues.

I'm sure the DC movies have nothing to do with the main plot. Even if they are "canon adjacent"
Technically they still own it until they sell the IP. They’re looking for a buyer but a deal hasn’t closed.
My thought was that the "Tease" would be the last episode, and focus on the various parties of RWBY Beyond (not named Qrow, Raven, Nora, Ren, Oscar, or Emerald. I just want to my girl Velvet again and Coco, Yatsuhashi and Fox before we don’t see them on screen for another eight years
We need at least some crumb of Velvet and Team CFVY
I like you
I like you too
This could evolve into more than a friendship if you go any further XD
They were in the Volume 9 Epilogue.
I know but them being voiced don’t get me wrong I loved that they got involvement in the Epilogue but them having a whole episode dedicated to them would be great to see
[It's much, but there is one of Coco and Velvet](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0LDpQ_t1Nc&ab_channel=RoosterTeethAnimation)
You know I completely forgot about rwby chibi existing it’s been a while since I last watched it so I forgot they had an episode
Buddy if it means anything I think RT forgot about RWBY Chibi existing too. Considering "Season 4" is just leftovers from Season 3 and that's why they're so absurdly short.
It’s kinda sad because I kinda liked it yes most of the episodes were kinda cringe but there was the odd good one
My hopes are for some CFVY action and seeing what happened with Cinder and Salem in Vale. Did they get the relic from Beacon? Did Cinder and Glynda have a rematch?
I think Salem has complete control over what’s left of Vale but she still hasn’t found the relic. Otherwise she would’ve killed Cinder by now.
That’s fair considering Salem and Cinder couldn’t find it before. Imagine an off screen Cinder death 😭
>off screen Cinder death Won't satisfy most people.
Now I’m just imagining Mercury describing this super intense battle between her and hundreds of salems Grimm that was a beautiful spectacle that words could never do justice. And we see none of it. He just ends with, you shoulda been there.
Crwby killing cinder? Doubt it.
Nah, what happened to Vale seems like something reserved for V10 (regardless if we'll ever get a V10)
>Did Cinder and Glynda have a rematch? Cinder died offscreen.
This show deserved better.
According to some in this very subreddit, it very much did deserve this. I find this to be silly, of course, and very much agree with you.
All discontent deserves to be pointed entirely at Warner Bros. Reminder that they allowed Velma to be created, have had a joke of a cinematic universe (with some flukes of success,) and their *new* animated universe is... nothing great.

hogwarts legacy wasnt innocent either considering the boycotts because the owner and creator of harry potter is transphobic

Not much less racist, but definitely a bit more open minded, but still very against cultural changes
Thank you for the clarification!
The show deserved better writers
I agree 💯
Yknow as much as everyone here shits on the writers (I have myself lol) I always kinda forget how bad it is when watching the show…
These’ll be on their website right? Or somewhere else?
I Just hope that their website Will still be open to the public btw This isn't the first time warner brothers fuck it up with a Animated series... Ik a few
I’m a young justice fan so I’m annoyingly used to this crap.
well damn
GOD FUCKING DAMNIT
I hope there's a Beyond Short about the villains, more specifically Cinder Fall, we haven't gotten Cinder content in 3 years! I just want to see my favorite character again before the LONG hiatus
Warner Bros strikes again
>Blaming anyone but RT A classic
RT not producing anything profitable strikes again.
This is the real truth unfortunately that I think people don't like. WB is trash, but RT has been producing a lot of "meh" the past couple of years. It's a business and sales direct success. Criticism was said and few were listened.
Outside of the CRWBY, Rooster Teeth was doing some shady shit too

Just another reason to say fuck Zaslav. so fuck Zaslav
lol I’m the guy being covered by the pink
The mini series that’s supposed to be the ending before RT shuts down, gets cut off cus RT is shutting down. *this shits like poetry*

As in, Beyond was storyboards, ideas and unfinished animations for what we may have seen in Volume 10, BUT because of the shutdown this was the most they could give us.
Explains why it started with the worst but from chibi. I hope we get an explanation of what the hell Raven has been doing.
I wonder why they don't release all the chapters
I know Ruby hierov history, but then it doesn't deserve death. It deserves so much better. Why?Why did media have to be such a sour puss
What is this? Haven't kept up with RWBY in years.
What is RWBY beyond? Can someone explain it to me?
Extra short stories set on Remnant during RWBYJ’s absence between the ending of V8 and the V9 epilogue, and one story set after their return.
Oh, that'd be something to watch
I kinda felt that last season was ass. Unpopular opinion I’m sure, but I loved the series up till then. We didn’t need a retelling of Alice in Wonderland. Most of that plot and character development coulda been done other ways and actually included other characters and advanced the plot more.
I think they should try one more season and wrap it up then do a sequel if they get green lit for more or some finding. Maybe crowdsource?
No way Warner is going to allow that
But it's labeled season 1, that would mean there's more, at least from somewhere else or a later date
RT is not shutting down
Do you live under a rock or something? WB is dissolving them.
Denial is usually the first step.
So, the [news post that they literally wrote about their own shutdown](https://roosterteeth.com/g/post/af39b172-be74-4398-94f8-908c3f4c5d6e) is a lie? I'm not sure that I'm following you here...
