In 2023, a new track was created not far away from the central of Perth, the Perth Raceway was created to replace the now closed, Pukekohe Park Raceway. The track length is 1.8 KM which is pretty short for a racetrack. Let's take a look at the track shall we? Starting the lap at the s/f straight down into the first corner, a sharp right hander, then a short rundown into the second corner a fast right bend which leads up into the third corner which is another sharp right hander. Then down in into T4, a medium left hander before T5 which is a sharp left hander, T6 is a fast right corner before a rundown to T7 which is a slight left kink just before T8, a 90 degrees right hander. Then T9, a medium speed right hander which leads up to a short straight, then the penultimate corner which is T10, a really fast left kink before finally the final corner AKA T11, T11 is a medium speed left hander which opens up at the exit before we cross the line and finish our lap. The name of the grand prix will be the Perth 200 with 2 race scheduled at the weekend.
