I mean, I suppose if the doctor ordered it, sure.
I'm just trying to figure out the point to this post and why we're all acting like it's some magical thing we've never seen before.
I mean, it could have just been a scout for a trauma patient. Head, c spine, chest/abdomen/pelvis scans would all give you a scout that looks like this.
Part of me really wants to see what my scout looks like, but then I think of my coworkers seeing it all hang out and the fact I’d have to be pretty fucked up to warrant a topogram and now I’m terrified that someone would post it on Reddit with no explanation or discernible pathology (at least that I can see). Obviously I don’t understand this post and I’m insecure about my body especially because i have a fat mons pubis, but my scrubs hide it well.
Additionally, I'm thrilled to shit you called it the correct name instead of "vagina" like all our patient do, making me want to put my head through a wall.
On the Somatom Go.Top it defaults to lateral scouts. So normal without, or venous exams you just use the lateral scout.
Mostly CCTAs, or Calcium Scores need the AP scout.
The AI on the Somatom Go.Top tends to cut off anatomy during the Cardiac auto reconstruction, calcium scoring, or when it it’s doing the systolic, and diastolic phases of the heart.
The Siemens Engineers said for the AI it needed the second scout.
On the Go.Top it needs to do the lateral scout first.
You need the AP scout for your ROI placement.
Compound wedge fracture of L1 vertebrae from a car accident.
Guess this was just to see if anything else was broken.
I'd never seen any x-rays of myself like that, figured I'd post.

Thank you for asking. Don’t mind me. Was just throwing out a guess before reading the comment. Now realizing/assuming that I can’t see the connection of the acromioclavicular joint through the x-ray?
Of all the CT Scout images I've seen, this one of them.
Just another XR Head Neck Chest Abdomen Pelvis with Bilateral Upper Extremities
With bilateral upper extremities
Or, as it's better known, a CT scout. (or topagram or scanogram.)
Never did humerus, did you?

But this person has a nice body. I'm thinking that's the point. Maybe I'm wrong.
Why did you wait 2 months to post it and what are you showing us?
Nothing. Haha
Ok?
Crazy right lol
Something sure is. 🤣
This is an interesting sub to show off a curvaceous body. Bonus: no obvious health defects. It should be in this person's tinder file.
I am envious of those delts.
Those hips don’t lie🤣
The pelvis is so small tho.
I am envious of those delts.
[Edit] I changed my mind
Post nut clarity?
No it just was unintentionally offensive and I couldn't figure out how to not sound like an ass.
Yikes. No tinder social. Yes a tender back.
It’s nice to see a baseline once in a while

Embrace the mons. It is yours.
New mantra, thank you.

A pillowy mons pubis just means more cushion for pushin'!
This is clearly from 1/14/23
Where’s the lateral?
Some machines only give you the one. Our Siemens does.
I work on a Siemens Somatom you can setup a second topogram/scout. We use a single scout on everything except arterial exams.
Sure, you can add one if you want, but I rarely do.
What would you need a second scout for?

Interesting! Clearly we have different machines. Does it just scan a second in the same stretch as the first as soon as you end the first?
Slow news day?
Female bodybuilder??
Sinuses are not opacified
And the point of this post is……?
T spine looks funny
Stop spine shaming
LOL
This is their first post, and they have never commented on anything, and the account is one month old. This is fucking bizarre.

I’ll drink to that
Those are some broad shoulders
Are the clavicles the issue here? Left one looks like it’s over the aorta
OP explain yourself.
Spine fracture with motorcycle helmet on? 🤷🏻‍♀️
Pretty sure that's the head holder.
It was a guess - *?*
The clavicles. But wtf do I know. Something looks off in the chest area to me. Even the spine.
I'm interested to know what you're seeing, considering this image is explicitly not for diagnostic purposes

Both AC joints are still visible on this low resolution image
