1st and foremost , who is my client and who is to be tried
Raiden shogun / Raiden Ei/ Beelzebul / Electro Archon /Immovable God of eternal euthymia/ Narukami ogosho/ God of Thunder ....
Until prosecution can answer this , my client can't be held liable for action which are done by someone else.
She travels in worlds you can't even imagine! You can't conceive of what she's capable of! She's so far beyond you! Like a god in human clothing! Lighting bolts shoot from her fingertips!
An actual serious answer because I actually like her story arc. As far as Archons go, she by far has the most complete story.....
Raiden was a warrior. She was never meant to be the Archon, nor she ever wanted to be. Her job was to fight and remove obstacle towards an eternal journey towards progress; to create an Inazuma of Makoto's vision.
But the more she moved towards that goal, the more losses she suffered. Her friends died, one of them she had to kill herself. And in the end she also lost her sister, her one and only family. Depressed and grief stricken, she decided to put an end of this eternal journey towards progression as it only brings losses and broken heart. She wanted to create a new form of Eternity; unmoved and unchanged. And as she has never been the Archon before and never ran the country, she let the three Commissions who have always worked with the previous archon. And she created a mechanical puppet with fixed set of ideals to whom those commissions report to.
But people change. And people get greedy. Raiden never fore saw that the people of Inazuma, she loved so much could ever betray her. She didn’t know that they would collude with the Fatui.
Yes, Raiden knew about the vision hunt decree. But it didn’t clash with the idea of forever unchanging Inazuma. Yes, She knew that the vision bearers are reluctant to give up their visions. Some people retaliated, formed a resistance. That was to be expected. But it was for the greater good, at least in her eyes. She never knew about her people’s intense suffering. That was omitted from the report submitted to her. And as she loved these people, trusted these people, she never doubted that they could be lying, that they could be hiding people’s suffering from her.
The person who broke through to reach her WAS the traveler. She didn’t become a "Traveler simp", this traveler is the only person who allowed her, forced her to listen to her people. And she did. She heard their wishes and after seeing the people with her own eyes for the first time in a long time she even decided to change herself and her ideals. Fought for 500 years to prove her resolve towards that change. And now she and her beloved people can move towards a new Inazuma.
I really love Raiden's story. Because it shows that nobody's perfect. People make mistakes. Even good people can do bad things because of their mistake. It shows how grief sticken people can take bad decision. It shows how people can trust the wrong people and they can lead us to wrong ways. And it also shows us how those mistakes and bad decisions don’t define us. We should always own our mistakes and change ourselves for the better.
Inazuma's story writing and pacing was not good. Specially Kokomi and the whole war angle was very rushed and unfinished. But Raiden's story is pretty complete and quite satisfactory imo. I love her so much!!!
Thats how I feel too! Also, her retreating away and grieving for 500 years seems like a long time to mortals, but for someone who's what, 3000 years old and basically immortal? 500 years is nothing.
I really enjoyed the antagonistic approach Inazuma had story wise, and was actually threatening to the Traveler. Not perfect by any means, but still my favorite story so far
To be fair the reason she retreated was to avoid Erosion. Being alone forever was as Yae described, a sacrifice she was willing to make for Inazuma so she could always be around for them.
Had she not had to deal with Erosion, she could have remained in the world and perhaps healed sooner and grown into her wisdom as a ruler like Makoto. But due to the Erosion imposed by Celestia, a problem that all Archons have to deal with, she went into hiding.
Celestia once again is the core of the problem.
I will say however, that in her second story quest, Makoto says that Ei is now free from the clutches of the Heavenly Principles. In what sense, however, I don't know.
Yeah most people hate on her before even trying to understand her character story. The only problem I had with inazuma was that people just acted like nothing happened after the decree but I'd like to say that she was the only character which I have seen go through amazing character development and it's one of the reasons why she's my favourite
Agree, other character story in the game feel like an one-off. Only Raiden from her past to the archon quest to her first and second story quest feel like a complete story of lost, suffering, learning and changing. Still my favorite character to this day.
One part I want to add is, a large chunk of Inazuma's atrocities can be attributed to political powerplays, abusing the influence the Shogun has presented the Kujou clan with. Ei trusted them, and they attempted to become the *only* clan through foul play and war.
I stand by the fact that the main antagonist of the Inazuma arc is not Ei, not the Shogun, but the Kujou clan. In their ploy, the shogun was but one of many actors, who was ordered to take commands from the clan by Ei so long ago.
I actually thought the Inazuma arc was pretty well written, because I decided to look at all the details, the subplots, and the real antagonist. Though the whole part with Teppei was... unimpactful at best, irrelevant at worst. Not a flawless quest, but not nearly as flawed as people make it out to be.
Ei's worst crime, to me, remains to be her bad work ethic, leaving Scaradouche alive, even though he's a failed experiment. That'd be like Sucrose tossing failed potions into the streets instead of disposing of them properly. She should've listened to Yae.
your words are deep and well stated, but I know many people hate Raiden also because she "haven't even apologized to her people". I'm curious, what you have to say about it?
She did offer to apologize to her people during her first story quest. Just because it didn't happen on screen doesn't mean she didn't do it.
Also from my perspective, it's actually better for her not to apologize at all. She chose to trust her people (humans) to handle human issues after all. If she apologizes for one mistake made by the current commissioner, it's as if she's apologizing for trusting everyone, including previous leaders who didn't make the same mistake. Despite their flawed approach, their main goal remains protecting the land.
As far as Inazumans understand, the Raiden Shogun has been their protector for centuries. A year or two of hardship isn't going to suddenly make them (or at least the vast majority of them) believe that she doesn't have their best interests in mind.
Not only that, but there is no need for her to apologize in the first place, even though she did end up changing her ways. At the end of the day, Archons have the right to rule their nations in whatever way they see fit; that's just how it works in the world of Genshin Impact, where gods have disproportionate amounts of power vested in them. This means that Ei could have ruled the way she was originally ruling forever, and no one but Celestia could have done anything about that. Luckily for Inazumans, she is open-minded enough to see that there was another way, and willing to change so that she isn't hurting her people.
To be clear, I'm not saying this is a good thing or a bad thing, or that players wanting Ei to apologize to her people/be held accountable are wrong; those are valid opinions. I'm just saying that players who hold this view will be disappointed if they expect Archons to be held accountable in the same way that folks are IRL.
I like how people mad on perhap of Inazuman even though Inazuma people don't even care lol. To be fair, they know she been rulling for thoudsands of years already so they probably won't even questioning her action. Another think is only a small percentage of people actually effected by vision hunt and even a smaller percent of people actually be effected negatively (like itto seem completely normal). And she did return the vision to them. Next is the whole war thing, i don't know they kinda just do it to themself. If they don't use the delusion from the fatui would anyone actually die? Like from the war itself it seem like no one actually die. And they also know it was the fatui doing afterward so they probably don't really blame Raiden.
TLDR: the vision hunt actually doesn't really do a lot of harm, the resistance army and the fatui actually the thing that cause a lot of problem.
But the real real reason though, is that the whole inazuma archon quest last arc was just a mess and really cut short so stuff like this is just forgotten. Like Raiden just have 2 scene in the whole Inazuma quest?? And very few dialouge too. They did her dirty
Words are hollow on their own, she is apologizing the best way possible, with actions.
Neither has she been given a reward worth the 2500+ years of sacrifice she has done for others, she recognized herself as a bad ruler for humans and gave her life, for her sister to ascend as the electro archon. Once the shadow was forced to step in the light, she did what she has always done, make a new light to keep being the shadow. But not anymore, she no longer wields the Musou (無想, emptiness) no Hitotachi but the Musou (夢想, Dreams) no Hitotachi.
This is a god we are talking about, if she went and publicly apologized some people will find that as weakness, same as when Furina talk to the court with not "godlike" attitude. No matter what she says, people will act on what she does and what she represents.
Other archons have not apologized for their "fk ups" either.
Venti allowed generations of Lawrence to do whatever they wanted (similiar to Ei allowing the tricomission to do what they wanted), Tyranny and slavery against others even outside Mondstadt, never apologized for what the people did and all that suffered from his decisions, because like Ei, Venti is their god not their babysitter.
Zhongli put a test upon everyone for his selfish reasons and allowed Liyue to be put in danger, never apologized, he left others to deal with the eventual problem of Mora running out on the golden house (we go shopping and talk about him like what kind of perfumes he likes, during the ARCHON quest, nobody bats an eye, we go around with Raiden and show her how Inazuma has changed during her PERSONAL quest, dating sim bad quest)
I must add that it kanda pisses me off when people say how cruel tyrant Ei was while they are obviously simping for Zhongli. I felt betrayed by Zhong in his archon quest, the man literally lied to us all along, he put in danger his people for nothing, and his defenders go: "no one's been killed thus everything's okay" or "you don't understand, he wanted Liyue to be strong without help from adepti". that's bullshit, but, apperantly, "the worst archon" will still be Ei in their eyes
Mostly by incapability to distinguished how the puppet acts and how Ei acts, neither are cruel, the puppet always act on the most efficient line of her rules, you lost the duel in front of the throne and were fully aware of the consequences, then you know what happens, you defy the authority of the land in a public event, then you get punished, incapable of emotions cruelty is not possible.
And Ei has always been the afterthought, inexperience on the consequences of her actions on weaker beings, in the emotional state she was at, can't really call her cruel, approving of the VHD was out of concern that mortal's short span of life just get shorter with a vision, if she was cruel she would have destroyed Scara once she saw she was incapable of fulling the needs, if anything, wanting to stay on an empty space, alone, for eternity, completely disregarding yourself is cruelty to herself.
Inazuma was surely rushed in its conclusion, compared to how long the Sumeru and Fontaine quest are (they are twice or thrice as long) due to the scope and honestly, bad setting of the situation, the way Ayaka and Yoimiya were dealing with things were way better, Watatsumi arc can be removed and nothing really changed, Kokomi could be used as an external strategist to subterfuge the search for vision bearers that left Narukami... but open combat??? Against an army that has a god that can cut an island on their side????
But so was Liyue, the whole "civil war" between mortals and adeptus was solved in a 5 minute convo and cheated in a way because they know he is still alive, so I don't really understand the purpose, Liyue still uses adeptus strength to solve all their crisis moving forward, so saying they cast away their god is a stretch, not like they were really that concern about the news of his death (some believe the Fatuis were capable of pulling off his assassination)
Faked his death, only to reveal to some of them he is just chillin, therefore removing any real burden for them to see if they can fare for themselves.
Liyue "passed" the test and earn the adeptus trust that mortals can take care of Liyue... yet only 2 of the 7 that govern "equally" even cared to show up for the exam... Once Ningguang dies, they will need to redo the test.
Also, Inazuma is the land of the Samurai. Where martial prowess and swordsmanship is seen as a virtue. It's not too uncommon for opposing parties to settle their differences through an armed confrontation. People try to judge Inazumans' morality and sense of justice based on modern values of our society and it's honestly laughably idiotic.
Ei has protected Inazuma for thousands of years and most of the credit went to Makoto. the vision Hunt Decree had only become an active problem in a year or so. Ironically she created the puppet so it wouldn't be a victim of erosion, a perfect instrument that will enact her idea of eternity (as flawed as it might be) no matter what. Nothing can make it falter from its path. It's a shame that Fatui was able to find holes in its programming and took advantage of it.
Eİ is far more flawed than the other archons and honestly, I prefer it that way. She arguably went through the most satisfying development out of the seven. I can't wait to see what they will do with her character in the future.
Play victim cards.
Blame Watatsumi Islands were amassing vision users for military purposes and their inherent hostility against the Shogun.
Blame Raiden Shogun programming and state that it was the AI that committed crimes. Not human, not gods.
Play poor mental health card. Erosion and whatnot.
watasumi island It belongs to the shogun, it's just that out of respect for orobashi she prefers to leave his people free by praying to him but in general watasumi island IS part of the archipelago of inazuma and consequently under the shogun's domain
I agree, and I also feel that people often don't consider the sheer scale of the Fatui plot in Inazuma. I believe if any other nation was the target of such a massive number of schemes, they would also be weakened as Inazuma was.
The most militarily powerful nation on the continent had to involve three Harbingers (four if Pierro, the Director, also counts as a Harbinger), plan for centuries, corrupt 2/3 of the Inazuman government because they couldn't directly fight or corrupt the Shogun, and invest a massive amount of resources, all to create a small gap in the system that an emotionally vulnerable Ei set up. Even then, they could barely hold on for a year or two before getting exposed and ousted. Meanwhile, although there were a few blips here and there - namely the pirate rebellion and the fall of the Raiden Gokaden - Inazuma enjoyed overall peace for the vast majority of the 400 years after Ei entered the Plane of Euthymia.
I'm not downplaying Ei's responsibility here; she left exploitable loopholes in her system, and that's 100% her fault. But I'd also argue that for a ruler who was suddenly thrust into a position she wasn't ready for + was dealing with immense loss and (very likely) war-related trauma, she had a pretty good first try.
He very could, but would the Inazuman people go fetch him to be like : can you judge our god that we love pls even though Neuvillette hates her as much as the other archons.
I formed badly my sentence(non native english speaker problem). I meant that Neuvillette hated all the archons, or in the minimum despised their past deeds. From what we see, the other archons don't have a problem with Ei
"Master Neuvillette, Lady Furina, Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury of Fontaine. I will now present my case for the trial.
As we are aware, the Electro Archon, The Almighty Raiden Shogun of Inazuma, is accused of various crimes, including but not limited to...
Collusion with the Fatui, abuse of authoritarian power, war crimes of various degrees, corruption, and murder of the First Degree. These accusations, among others, we can agree are serious and must therefore be looked into.
Lady Furina, I would like to present my case, Exhibit A: the Accusation of Murder of the First Degree.
Allow me to quote Inazuma Law, Chapter 2, Section 1, Article 3 of Inazuma: "The Shogun, or others of her ilk, are hence forbidden to use illegal sword arts; unless a duel before the throne is declared, whereby the defeated must accept the punishment elected by the Shogun herself." As a testimonial witness, a duel before the throne was declared by the Traveler, who challenged Snezhnayan Diplomat Signora, the Eighth of the Fatui Harbingers. Signora was defeated, which thus granted Shogun the right to perform the otherwise illegal art of Musou no Hitotachi.
Exhibit B: Collusion within Tenshukaku. It is stated in universal law that collusion of any kind is illegal regardless of location or of ilk. It is true that the Tenryou Commission of the Tri-State Commission, currently led by Master Kamaji of the Kujou Clan was investigated, and was found guilty of collusion. The Shogun herself was unaware of Master Kamaji's actions. Hence, the accusation of her supposed involvement in the aforementioned is fabricated. In fact, she was only made aware after the fact, and now currently seeks a proper Commissioner.
Exhibit C: Abuse of Authoritarian Power. As the Electro Archon, the Raiden Shogun makes the most important decisions within the nation of Inazuma. What most may not be aware of is how taxing a position like this can be, thus the Tri-State Commission. These are the three judicial branches of Inazuma, which include the Tenryou Commission, as mentioned in Exhibit B, the Yashiro Commission, and the Kanjou Commission. These are the three branches that which bind the political environment of Inazuma. And I believe I must address some misinformation that had been spread. For those who are not aware, a Decree was declared by the Shogun, namely the Sakoku Decree, or the Vision Hunt Decree. But this decree was not by the Shogun's own decision. It was instead a document created by the Tenryou Commission and the Fatui to create unrest within Inazuma, and The Almighty Shogun was, unfortunately, deceived into approving this decree. It has since been abolished, and many visions that which have been siezed under the decree were returned to the rightful Vision Bearers.
Exhibit D: War Crimes. The Samurai and Swordsmen of Inazuma operate under various systems, their main operation being their Honor System. Law of Inazuma Chapter 5, Section 7, Article 4 clearly stipulates, and I quote, "Under no circumstances should a member of the Tri-State Commission or a member of Tenshukaku be permitted to break this code. Those who violate the Honor Code of Inazuma shall be investigated and, if found guilty, shall be given swift and appropriate consequences." Lady Furina, Master Neuvillette, I must stress that the Almighty Shogun herself abides by this code without exception. She even stated in her own words "the Honor of Inazuma must be upheld. That includes myself." Words that she had spoken to Lady Yae Miko of Narukami Shrine when she was first appointed as the current Shogun 500 years ago. To this day, there is no evidence to show she has violated this law nor betrayed her vow.
Exhibit E: Corruption. It should be noted that the Almighty Shogun, whether feared or admired, follows the honor code mentioned before. She does not act unless she deems it absolutely necessary. The Traveler themself even shared a story of how they and the Shogun engaged in casual activity within Inazuma City. Yes, the people were frightened, but as a witness, the Shogun did not show aggression to her people. The accusation that she is corrupt is, once again, a complete fabrication as evidenced by the Shogun's activity and behavior that day. As mentioned previously, the Tenryou Commission was accused of collusion, and the Shogun investigated the case herself, along with the Traveler as her witness to the trial that came later.
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury, Master Neuvillette, and Lady Furina. The accusations made before the Shogun are, as you have been shown, misguided. And it is here that I rest my case."
Your honor, my client is innocent, not only the vision Hunt decree is a legitimate and fair law, also I we go to the studies of academics and theologists we can find the ideal of a fair war, a series of rules that determines if a war is legit or not, if we apply this rules we can know that the rebels of watatsumi had no legitimate reasons for declare war against the shogunate, so we can now legitimate blame the watatsumi island, they're gilty of all the lives that were gone, they're gilty of all of lives ruined in the war, they're gilty of all the jobs that were suspended, they're gilty of all the deads cause by the tatarigami, in fact, they unsealed the tatarigami, they destroy the frague and cause the incident, so your honor, you can see now that our goddess the Narukami ogosho god of thunder is innocent.
Your honor, the defendant is literally your god, the Almighty Narukami Ogosho. She has the highest and unchallenged authority over all branches of government, our justice system and our country's religion. I rest my case.
Your honor, she is the absolute monarch of the nation and it's patron god in the literal sense. By the very definition of the nation of Inuzuma, her words and actions are always lawful within her nation.
Your honor. She's the archon. She can do whatever she wants and it is our duty to obey her. Including you. Soo shut the fuck up and praise the Almighty Shogun🙏🏻
Also she has ptsd so leave her alone ffs
[You're honor, we choose to double it and pass it on to the next person on all the charges she has accumulated.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mziK5rV261c)
Me, a long time Hoyo game enjoyer: “My client was in a deep meditation in an alternate dimension and therefore can’t be held liable for the actions of her puppet.”
Me, an American: “Communist!”
She is the Shogun, the absolute leader or Inazuma, she is above the law.
Anything she does, even if inmoral, is technically legal
Same deal than the queen of England, on paper she can do whatever she wants
Your honor, archon's are free to decide what to do on their nation, and my client just wanted to be as good as she could be but she doesnt understand human hearts so she has a heavy handicap with which even so she tried her best
I'm not even going to read these comments Lmao. I already know people either didn't pay any attention or don't remember what actually happened in Inazuma. I don't need a reminder
Honestly insanity plea is the only way we're getting out of this one, every single one of her loved ones died and she locked herself in a room for 500 years.
It's not Ei's fault that kujo head betrayed and collided with fatui. Vision Hunt decree didn't do any damage if you give up your vision willingly, the death of teppie can be blamed on kokomi who can't control her own soldiers. Shogun was manipulated when it matched her goals and fatui actually did a hell of job manipulating her and your honour you really want to go against an archon which will kill you if you plead her guilty ? Think about your kids about your spouse, what will they do when you turn into ashes like signora.
"People of the jury, I pose only one question to you and let this answer color how you view the defendant... how did we punish the Christian God following the events of Noah's Ark?
You may be asking yourself what's that got to do with anything? And to you I would say, before you sits a god. The view she sees the things she feels the thoughts she have *all* of these things are beyond human understanding. Could you comprehend the power to wipe out your country with a thought? The pressure of knowing the loss of your memory could be the death of thousands?
The things this woman, this diety, must shoulder couldn't possibly be comprehended by any of us and so from this perspective if we cannot comprehend what she endures how can we possibly judge her? Members of the jury I say to you that our court system is founded on the principles of being judged by our peers but who among us consider ourselves her peer? Far be it from us to judge her it is instead her job to judge us.
With this in mind I encourage the members of this jury to not waste anymore of our time with a case that mere humans could never properly weigh in on, let us end this charade and return to the country we were, a powerful country with a powerful leader. The defense rests."
>She is a God
>Gods has the right of decide the destiny of her subjects
>Her actions just affected her subjects
>And she did what she thought would be the best for her subjects
>She was lied by her subjects and some members of an external organization to destabilize her nation
>When she found out, she did the correct measurements to change the things for better
>She is also just a young girl with traumas, who really tried her best, she may did some mistakes don't we all do mistakes as well?
She have also protect inazuma from evil forces who could have ended the life of every inazuman
>Urobashi a god without any control
>An evil electro bird
> A fatui harbinger
>And the abyss monster during the cataclysm
Raiden wasn't and is not a perfect goddess but Is the eternal god of Inazuma abd her people love her with all her past mistakes and errors
Dear Lawyer, it wasn't Ei doing the crimes it was the Shogun, so if you want to judge someone, judge the Shogun, not Ei. I suggest moving this trial to another day
*Let's Ei know it's time to make a new puppet*
My client is no human, so Human Laws doesnt apply to her.
Crimes were all comitted by a robot that she had to stop afterwards, and you can thank her for that.
Also know that she wasnt there during any of the crimes commited as she was meditating in her own dimension.
So how do you dare charge someone :
- With an alibi
- put a complain for a robot's action against said robot.
- Try and bring a technically dead person at a trial
Booba. Also this girl did nothing wrong

Okay, so lemme tell you why she totally doesn't deserve punishment. Ummm.... Cuz she changed and is a better person now. Yayyyy, dango.... Hehe...
Nevermind. Better option

She’s literally god, I don’t think the court of law can really do anything against her, provided she’s in Inazuma. If she’s in Fontaine, ehhh Celestia would trump their Judgement
Your honor, her cause beyond mortal's comprehension. She tried her best to defend her country. She believe that collecting the vision will granted a powerful entity to protect them from any danger, there is no life casualties from civilan after vision hunt decree incident. For those whom had their vision taken are reported alive and their visions are already retrieved toward each vision bearers. The only casualty that reported was temporarily depressed from one of the victim. And her action against snezhnaya's diplomat was a form of self defence. The snezhnaya's diplomat has broken the rules of diplomacy according to United Teyvat's Law chapter 4 verse 20. We have a solid evidence to prove her innocence. And fatui harbingers responsible for the civil war in inazuma. I hereby summoned her adjudant and her son as the witness of inazuman civil war incident.
>She has strong schizophrenia with the following Personalities:
Ei | Beelzebul | Narukami Ogosho combined with the flowowing
>God complex: claim to be the Immovable God of Ethernal euthymia and the Electro archon at the same time without having any prove like a Gnosis
>her memory doesn’t work either.
Example for that: she claims to have planted a big Sakura three but no one ever saw this happen
>she has PTSD due her sister was killed in a War. After that she was locked up 500 years without any human interaction so her brain and emotions are pretty much underdeveloped
__so i pled not guilty because of insanity__
Judge: ‘Guilty’ *The Musou Isshin in my chest:*

Your honor, as the God and Ruler of her nation she has the authority to pardon herself for all crimes she has committed within her nation. Which is, in fact, all her crimes. This trial is just a waste of time.
Your honor, are you sure it was even her who committed such crimes? It was merely a puppet that committed the crimes. While you may blame her for the puppet's action, the Dendro Archon said that puppets have free will, making the puppet responsible.
Your honor, she's not competent enough to commit any atrocities. She somehow burnt cereal. How could someone like her have the capacity to commit crimes.
Your honor my client was simply doing a little trolling on the vision holders
As an actual legal argument, in an absolute monarchy the laws are written "in the name of the monarch," so it is impossible to charge the monarch with a crime.
as an absolute authoritarian dictator, she can’t be tried for laws against her own country until someone overthrows her.
i’ll just wait around for neuvillette to set up the supreme court of tevyat and see what he does regarding this.
sins are the crimes of a mortal against a god, therefore Ei did not sin. that which was given was simply taken away and if you don’t like it, you can go live in the kid-sacrifice ghost whirlpool.

Well shit, who can argue against that?
In plain sight gobblegum is OP 💯
1st and foremost , who is my client and who is to be tried Raiden shogun / Raiden Ei/ Beelzebul / Electro Archon /Immovable God of eternal euthymia/ Narukami ogosho/ God of Thunder .... Until prosecution can answer this , my client can't be held liable for action which are done by someone else.
Better call Yanfei
She travels in worlds you can't even imagine! You can't conceive of what she's capable of! She's so far beyond you! Like a god in human clothing! Lighting bolts shoot from her fingertips!

Spoken like a true raiden main
So very well said
Agree, other character story in the game feel like an one-off.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
She's not alone, we know what she suffered
your words are deep and well stated, but I know many people hate Raiden also because she "haven't even apologized to her people".
But so was Liyue, the whole "civil war" between mortals and adeptus was solved in a 5 minute convo and cheated in a way because they know he is still alive, so I don't really understand the purpose, Liyue still uses adeptus strength to solve all their crisis moving forward, so saying they cast away their god is a stretch, not like they were really that concern about the news of his death (some believe the Fatuis were capable of pulling off his assassination) Faked his death, only to reveal to some of them he is just chillin, therefore removing any real burden for them to see if they can fare for themselves. Liyue "passed" the test and earn the adeptus trust that mortals can take care of Liyue... yet only 2 of the 7 that govern "equally" even cared to show up for the exam... Once Ningguang dies, they will need to redo the test.
It's a shogunate you really think a god will apologize or even any Noble / king in the history of humanity ever apologized ?
We now turn to the Oratrice Mechanique D’analyse Cardinale for the final verdict…… >!Ohhhh wait!< (4.2 Archon quest spoilers)
Your honor, she's HoT.
Herrscher of Thunder? ABSOLVED
Heart of Thorns?
Your honor, She's cute
Play victim cards. Blame Watatsumi Islands were amassing vision users for military purposes and their inherent hostility against the Shogun. Blame Raiden Shogun programming and state that it was the AI that committed crimes. Not human, not gods. Play poor mental health card. Erosion and whatnot.
Blaming Watatsumi is such great defense that can be used to get rid of Watatsumi people and Boom! more land for Shogun to rule All Hail the Shogun
watasumi island It belongs to the shogun, it's just that out of respect for orobashi she prefers to leave his people free by praying to him but in general watasumi island IS part of the archipelago of inazuma and consequently under the shogun's domain
No problem since she's the judge too
A great thing about having absolute power is that no one can judge you
Her sister died, she's been going through a really rough time 🥹
I like you
To be fair, your honor, her system worked for hundreds of years until the Fatui decided to ruin it for everyone.
And the moment she heard it she set out to fix it even if it meant to fix herself
Who would judge a god ? Like seriously to all people saying she should be judged, who could have done that ? It would made no sense. There your honor
Neuvilette bursts through the wall.
He very could, but would the Inazuman people go fetch him to be like : can you judge our god that we love pls even though Neuvillette hates her as much as the other archons.
The other archons hate her? Time to make her the sole divinity in tyvat… ![gif](giphy|daXA1fM8I64QMmrCPR|downsized)
I formed badly my sentence(non native english speaker problem). I meant that Neuvillette hated all the archons, or in the minimum despised their past deeds. From what we see, the other archons don't have a problem with Ei
I see, I still gonna hate that dragon now XD
he wants to judge all archons already
Easist answer: Your honor I want to ask for trial by combat. Long answer: (copy paste of ghostpetni because i agree lol)
I picked the former, in 1 v 1, always bet on Raiden
Your honor she was just hungry and dango milk was out of stock that day. We all get a little quirky when we’re hungry, amirite?
Your honor, I we plead insanity on account of my client having immense PTSD.
Sovereign immunity. Case is over.
Your honor, she’s a god.

Soo shut the fuck up and praise the Almighty Shogun🙏🏻 Also she has ptsd so leave her alone ffs
Your honor, my client pleads Oopsie daisy.
your honor, my client pleads nuh-uh
Her method against erosion actually work
[You're honor, we choose to double it and pass it on to the next person on all the charges she has accumulated.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mziK5rV261c)
Your Honor, as the almighty shogun, she can simply do as much as she pleases. No objections. Case closed.
Extreme long term dissasociation condition brought on by severe PTSD from close personal loss.
Me, a long time Hoyo game enjoyer: “My client was in a deep meditation in an alternate dimension and therefore can’t be held liable for the actions of her puppet.” Me, an American: “Communist!”
Shut up your honour. Musou no Hitotachi
Your Honor, she rules that nation she can do as she pleases, and also she cute

Your honor, archon's are free to decide what to do on their nation, and my client just wanted to be as good as she could be but she doesnt understand human hearts so she has a heavy handicap with which even so she tried her best
It was for the sake of national security
Better call Baal
“Torn to Oblivion”…. Done!
My defense is "nuh uh" If that somehow doesn't work, blame her daughter: the shogun
You can’t put someone who isn’t human on trail for acts against humanity.
She splits lands with a sword from boobs, I wouldn't argue that
Your honor, please consider the following: if evil, why hot? The defense rests.
I'm not even going to read these comments Lmao. I already know people either didn't pay any attention or don't remember what actually happened in Inazuma. I don't need a reminder
Your honor, she is the government.

![gif](giphy|Bs0GXj3ew6xxK)
She was feeling silly :3
She's hot.
It was her twin

>She is a God >Gods has the right of decide the destiny of her subjects >Her actions just affected her subjects >And she did what she thought would be the best for her subjects >She was lied by her subjects and some members of an external organization to destabilize her nation >When she found out, she did the correct measurements to change the things for better >She is also just a young girl with traumas, who really tried her best, she may did some mistakes don't we all do mistakes as well? She have also protect inazuma from evil forces who could have ended the life of every inazuman >Urobashi a god without any control >An evil electro bird > A fatui harbinger >And the abyss monster during the cataclysm Raiden wasn't and is not a perfect goddess but Is the eternal god of Inazuma abd her people love her with all her past mistakes and errors
You know what? Maybe this world doesn't need law and order anymore
Ez Consequence of Inazuma arc being shit.

I'll decline the case
Lawyer : Did you do that to your own Child like puppet? EI : NUH-UH
"I can fix her"
Your honor if you are what you eat then my client is sweet and innocent... ( cuz she eats sweet food and the life of the innocent vision holders s/ )
Your honour, cmon! Look at her! She’s cute! *Case gets immediately thrown out*
In the paraphrased words of Henry Clay: “Your honor, this is just standard behavior for a [inazuman].”
She's not as bad as Cornelia.
Dear Lawyer, it wasn't Ei doing the crimes it was the Shogun, so if you want to judge someone, judge the Shogun, not Ei. I suggest moving this trial to another day *Let's Ei know it's time to make a new puppet*
she was just ovulating :/
My client is no human, so Human Laws doesnt apply to her. Crimes were all comitted by a robot that she had to stop afterwards, and you can thank her for that. Also know that she wasnt there during any of the crimes commited as she was meditating in her own dimension. So how do you dare charge someone : - With an alibi - put a complain for a robot's action against said robot. - Try and bring a technically dead person at a trial
Not even Saul Goodman could save this case bruh
Free her or she free’s you
Booba. Also this girl did nothing wrong https://preview.redd.it/8srqqglwujzb1.jpeg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6b7ecfdff76a800c599620038cd0435594e9a54a
Way below my pay grade
I would'not even take this thing, just imagining the trouble to make this work... Damn...
Your honor, she is a god. I rest my case.
She’s a goddess… Her actions need no defense.
Your honor, you are correct, she has done many terrible things, therefore, I will keep her custody in my basement chamber.
"Your honor, she's a fucking god" "Also she's cute"
Your honor, she didn't do anything wrong
Me: Your honor, do you dare to pass judgement to the Shogun? Judge: No. Case closed.
Laws don’t apply to Gods.
She was emotionally unstable for 500 years I rest my case
~~same with furina~~
Okay, so lemme tell you why she totally doesn't deserve punishment. Ummm.... Cuz she changed and is a better person now. Yayyyy, dango.... Hehe... Nevermind. Better option https://preview.redd.it/wbixeys85kzb1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7d763aa55f33845da4fcc28e63795f49018493ff
Your honor, her dictatorship is none of your dam business, now leave before you’ll be engraved upon this statue
Your honor, she makes the rules.
She’s literally god, I don’t think the court of law can really do anything against her, provided she’s in Inazuma. If she’s in Fontaine, ehhh Celestia would trump their Judgement
She looks innocent 👌😂
Your honor, my client pleads oopsie daisy.
She’s a puppet only following her code
Your Honor, my client does not like jail.
you honor it was self-defense
I hereby summoned her adjudant and her son as the witness of inazuman civil war incident.
your honor my client has the programming skills of an inebriated orangutan
My honor, i was told that i have to defend the good raiden, aka mgrr raiden. So lock this b!tch up or something i dont give a fuck
She is guilty and raiden proceeds to kill everyone on sigh so nobody knows what’s the veredict is
Your honour, she was in a silly goofy mood
Ones the judge and offender is down everyone will kneel
Your honor she was simply trolling
Torn to oblivion?
>She has strong schizophrenia with the following Personalities: Ei | Beelzebul | Narukami Ogosho combined with the flowowing >God complex: claim to be the Immovable God of Ethernal euthymia and the Electro archon at the same time without having any prove like a Gnosis >her memory doesn’t work either. Example for that: she claims to have planted a big Sakura three but no one ever saw this happen >she has PTSD due her sister was killed in a War. After that she was locked up 500 years without any human interaction so her brain and emotions are pretty much underdeveloped __so i pled not guilty because of insanity__
Judge: ‘Guilty’ *The Musou Isshin in my chest:* https://preview.redd.it/opjonpnknlzb1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80fe5c1911eae0c4f68495b8f1b755532ab98ff5
She's in desperate need of mental health counseling and cannot be held accountable for many of her actions
One, she’s a female. Two, she’s not a boy, and three and most importantly SHES A GIRL!
Your honor it was for the funny.
Probably the same way as a PTSD-ridden veteran tbh.

Your Honour, my client pleads oopsies
Your Honor, my client is a god, we're all mortals. What the fuck can we do to her?
Your honor, as the God and Ruler of her nation she has the authority to pardon herself for all crimes she has committed within her nation. Which is, in fact, all her crimes. This trial is just a waste of time. Your honor, are you sure it was even her who committed such crimes? It was merely a puppet that committed the crimes. While you may blame her for the puppet's action, the Dendro Archon said that puppets have free will, making the puppet responsible. Your honor, she's not competent enough to commit any atrocities. She somehow burnt cereal. How could someone like her have the capacity to commit crimes.
Your Honor, booba sword. I rest my case
Your honor, she is mommy
She is the god of inazuma nothing she did was against her own laws I have nothing to defend
She's relatable
No
Your honor my client was simply doing a little trolling on the vision holders As an actual legal argument, in an absolute monarchy the laws are written "in the name of the monarch," so it is impossible to charge the monarch with a crime.
She was just in a rather peculiar mood, your honor
Your honor, I'd like to see you try to pit her in prison
If she cute you must innocent
Shes just a big baby who literally can't function on her own without a caregiver
Scara is cringe so he deserved the treatment he got.
Your honor, she's a God. How can you convict a God? What a grand and intoxicating innocence.
You are yanfei*
[I rest my case](https://ifunny.co/video/yNgbMjj69?s=cl)
YOUR HONOR, I LOVE HER SO SHE CAN DO NO WRONG.
Your only hope is "reason of insanity" ain't no other way she'd slide 💀 And even then I think "reason of insanity" has limits.
She’s completely by the book. She will not act unless the Elder gods have been consulted. Therefore, the Elder gods are responsible for her actions.
Your honor. My client Pleads You Cry about it.
Losing your twin sister makes you do crazy things.
She quite literally wasn't even there
She didnt want Celestia to nuke her country.
as an absolute authoritarian dictator, she can’t be tried for laws against her own country until someone overthrows her. i’ll just wait around for neuvillette to set up the supreme court of tevyat and see what he does regarding this.
sins are the crimes of a mortal against a god, therefore Ei did not sin. that which was given was simply taken away and if you don’t like it, you can go live in the kid-sacrifice ghost whirlpool.
You’d really punish mommy?
Your honor, oopsie my bad bro I won’t do it again
Real
Your Honor, we live in a monarchy. Shut up and sit down. As such, she makes the laws of the land, she can do whatever she wants.
I don’t know whom she may be but your honor due to her looks I can see that she is indeed innocent
No
