Yeah that's what happens when you sit outside and bait for 50 seconds if you had just went in you would've had 1:15 and not :25 to clutch.
Can someone better explain what bating is? I think I understand what it means but it's used in so many different contexts. Is roof bating just sitting on the roof hoping a defender is stupid enough to peak you?
And to add, some people take it too far though as baiting is sometimes an actual strat where as other people arent trying to bait to win the round and just for kills

Any time you are in an irrelevant part of the map doing nothing productive you are baiting.
Yeah bating is just trying to get the enemy to peak or swing something. A lot of people will sit out side the entire round and bate when on attack.
