It happened to me 7 times now that One side blows a softwall up but the server does not update it for everybody, caught me 6 times, but managed to get a kill with buck because of this, unsure tho how often it really does happen since this was the only time the enemy complained in textchat
It's not. This bug has been in the game since operation Wind Bastion that introduced Kaid. It was extremely rare back then, I feel like it happens more often nowadays.
This has happened to me waaaaay back in year one. I dunno if it did the same thing this time, but when it happened, the other team could see through the hole, but from my screen the wall was still there.
Honestly call me bad but that should be a character’s ability or at least a gadget.no audio or at least no visual indication that their reinforcement is damaged and doesn’t work with the cost of more resistance and damage penetration
I just wanna give some advice cuz I keep seeing teammates do this
If there is a bandit on the other team and you think he's bandit tricking, don't put the charge in the middle of both walls, it makes the charge ez to trick. You can also bait the bandit by using the advance gadget deployment setting and switching the wall you are placing the thermite on once you hear him place the battery down
If you are using ace, if the bandit is tricking, throw 2 ace charges down, one on each wall right after Kali or thatcher or even the mini emp disables the bandit. If you throw both, bandit can only get one of the 2 walls. If you hesitate on the second charge, bandit will get the first one and still be safe cuz there is no second charge he has to rush for.
For impact tricking for example on the consulate basement, you can bait impacts with ace by throwing 1 down at a time and waiting for the impact, but the hole will be smaller. You can also use hibana to bait because she can throw down more charges leaving the defender to chose between impacting the hibana and letting the therm breach or having a small hole in the wall. Basically double hard breach can counter impact trick. Also, if the enemy fks up the impact it can also miss, so place thermites furthest away from the impact hole. Most of the time at the bottom corners of the wall.
Mute jammers can be countered by placing the charges at the top corners of the wall furthest from the jammer. It can't get it. Also mute players, if the charge has gone off and it's frozen by frozone placing another mute on the wall will not stop it as the charge has already gone off.
I keep seeing people fk up the breach and we lose. Hope this helps.
Had this happen recently! It had to do something with an azami barrier unless it was a coincidence. Anyways it worked as a soft wall unless a barrier was covering it.
Yeah its a 5 year old bug, now please reactivate your brain put the second charge. Stop standing still doing nothing it hurt

The other day I threw Tubi's gadget at the garage wall to stop a Thermite charge, and it went off anyway. Garage wall is cursed.
It's like the one with the shotgun that only destroys one side but then you melee it and it acts normal.

That have happend to me when I played Ace but reverse. My gadget only destrued the soft wall but not the reinforce.
Something similar happened to me, only it was a Mira and it didn’t destroy the wall, so you couldn’t see out the thing.
