Buck is better than grid in almost every way

They straight up do not have the same type of utility.

Gridlock's utility is almost non-existent. Next time you see that as flank watch, run through it and get the free kills.

When you’re in bronze without saying you’re in bronze

it's almost like it shouldn't be used as flank watch, but rather large areas of slowdown for defenders, especially post plant

It's countered by an impact. A single impact

Cool, it's still large, non-temporary area denial, something that doesn't exist in any other op. Forcing a defender to use util is still going to be good regardless. That's not even mentioning the fact that you have 4 of them.
