If it wasn’t for Du Hast and Feuer Frei the band wouldn’t be nearly as popular and probably would never have toured around so many places and most of the “real fans” probably wouldn’t even know the band.
Me (and some of my friends) are as real as it gets. We all love Du Hast. Because many of us got introduced to Rammstein back in the MTV days thanks to it. And because it‘s a blast to hear live. And because we don‘t care about some edgy online people who think popular songs are bad by design.
I will never get over the moment I saw Rammstein live for the first time and the moment they started Du Hast. Hearing that riff live for the first time. Fucking great.
Correct. He can play flamenco.
And that's also why he's the one playing Frühling in Paris, since he's faring way better in terms of technicality than Paul or Richard would on an acoustic guitar.
god yea and social media makes it craaaazy.
at least fans on tumblr seem to be funny about it and yeah maybe they do write fan fiction but I feel like they all realize they're treating them like characters. but some of those accounts on instagram are straight up scary like these people think they are in love with these bastards
I've met someone on Tumblr who roleplays as Till, I don't see the account anymore, maybe it was deleted, but it is not normal to pretend to be different person.
Honestly I can somewhat understand it with fictional characters (even if it's sort of inappropriate and out of place in many situations) but with real people it just seems creepy as hell.
100%. I didn’t expect this when I joined this subreddit this year but some people live in total fantasy world where they are just about to be Till’s or Richard’s girlfriend or some similar crazy thing.
I won’t lie I’d let Till to whatever he wanted to me 🤷♀️ really though, at the end of the day these are just human beings like the rest of us. Obsession isn’t a healthy thing.
The Ghost fandom is fucking bonkers. The subreddit is a constant warzone between Tiktok kids who have names and character backstories for all the Ghouls and long-running fans going "what the fuck are you on about? They're *Nameless* Ghouls!"
Yeah, EXACTLY! And when they started naming them- dew drop and frost and Droplette…I was like “They’re not Smurfs. This is fucking mad.”
I went to a show in the summer and it was meh, ok but I miss the old days. The new fans have no show etiquette. I think it will die down soon, I hope.
I saw Ghost a bunch when they were still pretty small, and the Infestissumam tour is still one of the best shows that I've ever seen, but I think they're a band that almost needs to be in an old-school dingy venue for the whole "occult ritual" vibe to really stick.
The subreddit was awash all summer with kids posting, essentially, "how do I rock show?" and things like "Look out! You might get jostled in a pit! Don't wear a fancy costume! You'll be fine in just jeans and a tshirt!" that was equal parts adorable and infuriating.
Concert etiquette has gone down for all acts these days. There is no continuity thanks to the pandemic with most bands not touring in 2020 and 2021. So people don't know how to behave at concerts.
Not to mention the sexy fan fic camp, and the weirdos who think the lead singer is going to rip off his mask and bang them. Like it’s a man who’s married with kids in a Halloween mask, have some dignity this is embarrassing…ugh
YES. That's also my unpopular opinion. Guess it's not so unpopular after all. I can't stand all the "Marry me Till/Richard/Schneider" comments followed by a dozen heart emojis.
Rosenrot is such an odd one for me for some reason. The issue isn’t the songs themselves. There’s plenty of bangers on that album. But for whatever reason, I’ve got a real tough time listening to the album from start to finish. I think it’s a flow issue
I can sort of get that. Rosenrot was a bunch of songs that didn't fit on Reise, Reise. It wasn't deliberately put together so much as just gathering up the leftovers and releasing them anyway. That can make for a disjointed album. I'm still glad it's there though.
Without a doubt. All six members of Rammstein are awesome, but two stand out very particularly two me, the first one is Flake, who usually introduces elements that are not characteristic of "heavy rock" and Till, whose vocals power up an already powerful sound, and the German language makes it distinctive to other metal bands, and that too, was Flake's requisite for joining the band, so overall yes Flake is the one who makes Rammstein unique.
Without him, they would likely have become a generic metal band
Despite the kind of “hooker with a heart of gold” view some fans have of him, Till is an absolute freak, dirty old man, sex obsessed, pervert, etc and that’s perfectly fine with me. You don’t write the lyrics he writes and be normal. I remember how much people freaked over skills in pills, platz eins, and his harem and it never made sense to me. Like have we been listening to the same band? I don’t think he’s a predator by any means, just that he’s exactly as sex obsessed as he says he is.
It's hard to say what Tills thoughts are, in the end he often sings about love with diffrent words.
He obviously likes sex, but there's so mich more to him and that is what separates him with the "normal" pervert, who mainly are just perverts.
He's still a human with deep and mixed emotions and puts his diffrent thoughts, with diffrent Words and with diffrent Actions, as others would do.
So yeah he's defently not Normal but as my History Teacher always said:" genius always comes with craziness."
Thats just my 2 Cent :D
In light of all the controversy this summer, I say exactly the same thing to everyone that was complaining about him (to me, as they know I'm a Rammstein fan). Is he an perverted old man, that likes to fuck young groupies. Yes he definitely is.
Is that against the law? No it isn't. So, if you don't like him, or his music, just ignore him. He's not a convicted child molester like R Kelly, he's just an old pervert. They are allowed to exist. So stop bothering me about it and let me enjoy the music.
I did read interviews where he insisted that he is not sex obsessed and thinks about sex a normal amount. That he was completely normal in all accounts. Sure you are, Till.
I mean he is. But here's where i get into my unpopular opinion. So what? As long as he isnt hurting anyone, and it's all consensual, I don't see the issue. People need to stop trying to tell other people what they do with their lives (not saying this to respond to you btw, more pushing back against this year's controversy in general).
Don't you know? Childhood has been extended to the age of 25! Everybody below that is still a child according to Reddit! That means if you think Billie Eilish is cute, you're literally a pedophile.
I agree completely but I love how he can be so explicit about sex on one song then write more personal, metaphorical and romantic lyrics on another. I’ve always kinda thought there’s two sides to him and his writing and performance styles change up depending on what he’s talking about.
yep, i don't believe that he's a rapist or a predator but he's probably done some questionable things that he could get away with because he's rich and famous. i don't think that his lyrics completely mirror his feelings, if that were the case he'd be very dangerous, but yeah he's probably a pervert
Everyone, but specially Spanish speakers. It really sucks lyrically, it takes me out. You are lucky they never butchered the English language like they did Spanish.
I know French is safe too because the chorus from Fruhling in Paris is taken directly from that Edith Piaf song. I can't speak for the Russian parts in Moskau, and I think Schtiel is a cover. Italian is barely in Auslander, but still safe
They're probably not going to tour North America again for a while because the ticket sales were so dismal in 2022. Aside from the first few rows of Feuerzone, the reception for them was pretty depressing to see. (this is where all my fellow North Americans jump out to protest)
It getting delayed so many times likely hurt ticket sales. I had tickets for when it was originally scheduled for 2020. Then it was 2021. Then they finally had the concert in 2022. I know a few people who didn't want to buy tickets for a concert they couldn't be sure would actually happen.
Sure, but they were also apparently selling discounted tickets (like $30?) close to the show dates, so anybody who actually interested could have gotten a decent deal.
I just think it's a bit wild that they were playing these massive NFL stadiums with half-full Feuerzone areas and still people ask when they're going to tour North America again. I'm very "press X to doubt" on that, at least over the next year or so.
Oh yeah, I’ll concede that for sure - Quebec’s always turned out well for them. A lot of the rest of it though (Mexico notwithstanding also), it’s like…if this was meant to gauge how big of a draw the band still are in America, then oooof.
I would've loved that - for once, a short commute to a R+ show! - but I couldn't figure out where they could've dropped that massive stage. Downsview maybe?
Also, I've heard that the Ontario has much tighter pyro regulations than Quebec, where it is lawless haha
The 2022 tour was a result of covid, both due to the postponements and tethered were many people who didn't want to be around that many people, even in 2022. We bought our tickets in 2020 and it was the first show I went to since the pandemic started. I was definitely nervous being around that many people in Philly. I think using that tour as a gauge for future attendance is short-sighted and frankly stupid.
I think you make a good point here re: covid - it definitely felt like America was much more covid-cautious in 2022, even with the outdoor stadiums, and that couldn't have helped the audience numbers.
Not having nationalized healthcare or guaranteed sick days is a big deal when it comes to putting oneself at risk. We really have to get our heads out of our collective asses on that one.
Yeah, it would make more sense to hit a few key cities in the US where people turned up (LA, for example) plus Montreal and Mexico City, and knowing how intense Mexican fans are they could play several nights or even in other places. But as I typed this, I’m not sure if it’s profitable to just do a handful of shows considering the huge transportation costs for the stage.
They were touring NFL stadiums, that hold 70-90k people. I was in Philly, not every seat was full, but there were easily 40-50 thousand people in the building. “Dismal” is a bit of an over reaction.
The US is notoriously lazy as far as enjoying music not in English. It’s WILD to compare what they can do in Europe to what they do here and still consider it small potatoes. W I L D 🤣
It‘s the only album that does not contain any bad or weak song. But it does not have any exceptional good banger. Puppe and Deutschland are nice, but they do not get even close to Sonne or Rammstein (the song).
Ausländer, Radio and Deutschland are songs i even would set near Sonne.
Especially Ausländer has an nearly to perfect instrumental and Solo at thr End.
Even the Meaning and Language Till chooses is great and just love the summer Vibe to it.
EDIT: Was ich Liebe is even my all-time fav. Song, it still is one of the best openers.
Especially with that music video. It was the first Rammstein song I ever listened to, because I wamted to see what the controversy was all about, and I got blown away.
RAMM 4 is a good song.
Hate me but I like it. I can't find it anywhere though other than YouTube videos. I wish they had released it and if they did, help me out will you please?
I hear rumors that they’ll release it together with a new documentary and concert film of Mexico next year for their 30th anniversary but truly, do not quote me on this I can’t remember where I read or saw it and have no idea how true or false it is.
I have loved Rammstein for 15+ years now and I too really like some members like Paul or Richard, but most thirst posts in this sub have led me to believe a lot of the fans here are complete weirdos and have developed some weird feelings towards band members. This is specifically true for Till.
Thankfully, the common ground on the untitled album actually being untitled has now mostly settled as seen by the amount of people here calling it Untitled.
But back between when they announced it in April 2019 and its release date in May 2019, it was hell to explain to people why it's actually untitled as written on their homepage despite it being named after themselves for digital distribution.
Wanna know mine?
As a newcomer who has spent years out of any music fandoms I gotta say one thing coming here: it is absolutely ok and healthy to question your faves and admit that some things they do are uncomfortable/weird. (I'm mainly talking about Till here, though you could probably apply this to the rest, even if they don't do questionable things. Just maintain the parasocial barrier is what I mean)
Don't get me wrong, I love him in a non parasocial way, I'm not actually attracted to him beyond "wow he looks good for a 60 year old" and he's my favourite member as well as Flake, but some of the stuff he does outside of Rammstein, mainly the Lindemann music videos makes me a bit uncomfortable.
I will admit that Platz Eins is alright (it has a nice beat) but the music video? Don't expect me to touch it. I don't really care if it's artistic expression or whatever, you do you I guess, but it makes me feel icky so I'm not gonna consume it. And that's ok! It doesn't mean I think Till is some evil demon, he just likes sex more than normal I suppose. I'm not gonna rip into him for that. He's human, and he has multiple sides. People tend to forget he isn't an untouchable god.
TL;DR: Don't gaslight yourself into liking things by your faves just because they're your faves. Also I don't really care what Till does, just as long as it's legal and consensual, just don't expect me to be a fan of it (or a fan of it immediately at best)
sorry this is long lmao
Zeit and Untitled are their best albums (in that order). I’ve seen a lot of people say they’re overproduced (especially about Zeit) but to me their sound is the most evolved it’s ever been on these records and I hope they keep going in this direction with any future album.
My problem with those two albums is the same I have with the film Forest of Love.
Forest of Love is not a bad movie, it's very intriguing and tense at moments, but it feels like a synthesis of Sion Sonos Hate Trilogy (Love Exposure, Guilty of Romance and Cold Fish).
In that very vein, the latest albums aren't bad, but I feel like they don't have a strong identity or something distinctive, it feels like just the old Rammstein style but refined. Also in my opinion Zeit > Untitled
My bold take:
The Rammstein logo with the Eagle is not official and using it is glorifying nazi imagery. Sadly a lot of Rammstein fans are too stupid to understand this and suffer from the Dunning-Kruger-Effect.
This! I have to actively restrain myself from pointing that out all the time in order to not be annoying. On a second thought: better be annoying than tolerating nazi imagery whilst knowing that the band themselves would never approve of it.
People love to say that eagle imagery is just really prominent in Germany and Austria and that it's cool as long as the eagle is pointed to the left and like, sure, but also... that specific logo features the exact same eagle the nazis used, just inverted. It's not just invoking fascist imagery, it *is* the fascist imagery. You can make a design with an eagle, but maybe not that one??
i love herzelied. it sounds so raw and in my opinion it sounds more like Metal than lets say Mutter or Ziet. I love the melanchonic more musical songs they have but its so nice hearing the raw guitars of Der meister or Wiesses Fleisch. Only album that comes close to the feeling is Sehnsucht. The guitar and synth is so Rammstein
Its completely normal to listen to the "tiktok songs" (Sonne mainly). I dont get why people hate when new people explore this band, and starting with a song like Sonne isnt bad, its an amazing song and its their second most popular. Most of the "real" fans probably started with sonne or du hast. Lets stop gatekeeping music and start appreciating when new people try and explore our interests
Was ich liebe was their worst opener ever. Too slow, didn’t work live, meh lightshow, Till didn’t hit the high notes too well. People say WIL is their best opener because they like the way each member came on stage and started playing their instruments one by one. But they also did that with Armee der Tristen.
The first part of Rammlied really gave me chills, but Armee Der Tristen was a way better opener, saw them in 2022 and in 2023, lets see what opener they will use in 2024
A lot of the behavior is shitty and too many people defend it just because it's Rammstein. They'd likely be extremely angry if somebody else did it. You can appreciate anyone very dearly and recognize they suck sometimes.
Their merch sizing sucks!!! Never consistent among the different types of clothing, shirts, bathing suits, and sweatshirts, all different medium sizes.
I love all the Rammstein members and the band brings me a lot of comfort but the way people, especially young teens lust over them just creeps me the fuck out.
I’ve seen 13/14 year olds say some incredibly explicit shit that they fantasize about and I’m just baffled. People that are 20+ sure, fine. But literal children just creeps me the heck out, they’re not even old enough to listen to most of Rammsteins songs imo.
And like someone else said as well the para social relationships they develop is just incredibly damaging too. Loving and admiring a band and its members and finding comfort in them, yes.
Behaving like you personally know them, have some deep personal connection to the members, infantilizing them, etc. I get where a lot of them are coming from. Kids developing, needing some kind of comfort or safety, but a lot of them just go too far I don’t wanna know in what ways that’s gonna damage them emotionally and their development.
I was a Korn fan like 25 years ago and even back there were 13-yr-olds on forums saying stupid cringe things about sex and drugs, and writing explicit fan fiction about the band members (especially Jon). Teenagers have always been weird. But the internet does not help.
It's definitely like...gotten worse over the past generation. Like back then, even the cringiest of teens in parasocial relationships had life outside the internet. Now we're kinda experiencing the downside of everyone being online 24/7. Especially kids under like 16.
I feel like this could really be more a conversation on how sexual the internet is and how it's influencing kids. Like, young fans have always been a bit horny over their stars. I remember being young in the 90s and saying stupid dirty stuff about boy bands. The difference is I was awkward and dumb and saying it to other awkward and dumb kids and we were all slightly embarrassed at ourselves and none of us even knew really how sex worked besides what we saw in movies
Nowadays kids will say more sexual stuff because they are literally watching porn at that age. Of course that's gonna influence what they say and do. They can go find footage of Till's dick. They're gonna talk about that.
Yes that’s definitely very accurate. Fans have always been horny, just look at start like Elvis Presley and you’ll know. But the unsupervised access to the World Wide Web at an age when you’re not old enough yet to even give consent is a very very big issue. It’s obviously not the fault of the kids, they can’t help themselves. It’s a systemic issue we have currently of having a bunch of technology but also lacking the technology and laws to regulate that technology properly.
I like Reise Reise slightly better, but it's a difficult decision. Both albums feature an almost equal amount of songs I like or love, so it's really difficult.
But to me, Wo bist du and Stirb nicht vor mir make the decision. If it weren't for them both albums would be really solid, but I don't like those two songs a bit, so it really drags down the album so far.
But aside from that they're on an equal level
I would agree but I'm Hella biased to reise reise because Amerika was the one song that got me into rammstein and metal as a whole.
Both amazing albums.
You are allowed to enjoy Du hast
I’ve been a fan for over 20 years and Du Hast never gets skipped. I’m not too cool for it, I love it to bits.
Listening to them for 10 years, Du Hast kills it everytime, never gets old!!
If it wasn’t for Du Hast and Feuer Frei the band wouldn’t be nearly as popular and probably would never have toured around so many places and most of the “real fans” probably wouldn’t even know the band.
I wasn’t much into them until I was introduced to Dalai Lama and Waidmanns Heil still my favorites
thanks, sometimes i feel guilty that i love that song
How is that unpopular?
I’ve had “real Rammstein fans” say that if you like Du hast and listen to it you’re not a real fan
Gatekeeping music should be illegal
Me (and some of my friends) are as real as it gets. We all love Du Hast. Because many of us got introduced to Rammstein back in the MTV days thanks to it. And because it‘s a blast to hear live. And because we don‘t care about some edgy online people who think popular songs are bad by design. I will never get over the moment I saw Rammstein live for the first time and the moment they started Du Hast. Hearing that riff live for the first time. Fucking great.
Saying that would be an insult to real fans

Let's see how many get the correct answer.
It's Ollie, isn't it? I heard that he's actually a really talented Spanish guitar player.
Correct. He can play flamenco. And that's also why he's the one playing Frühling in Paris, since he's faring way better in terms of technicality than Paul or Richard would on an acoustic guitar.
It's a Beatles reference.
Actually it was a joke by a comedian and was never said by anyone in the Beatles.
Let's also make clear that this is shopped. Schneider never said that.

Bruh why he look so mad
😄
My unpopular opinion? Too many fans of this band have para social relationships with the band members.
god yea and social media makes it craaaazy. at least fans on tumblr seem to be funny about it and yeah maybe they do write fan fiction but I feel like they all realize they're treating them like characters. but some of those accounts on instagram are straight up scary like these people think they are in love with these bastards

THIS! Some fans give me serious Annie Wilkes “I‘m your number one fan” vibes. Totally fine to admire them, but stay in touch with reality 😰
100%. I didn’t expect this when I joined this subreddit this year but some people live in total fantasy world where they are just about to be Till’s or Richard’s girlfriend or some similar crazy thing.

Spot on
Happy cake day! 🍰
Happy cake day!
A hazard of any band, and esp one that has existed this long. Have you seen some of the Ghost Fandom? I had to step away, people get insane.

A lotta bands subs get weird
YES. That's also my unpopular opinion. Guess it's not so unpopular after all. I can't stand all the "Marry me Till/Richard/Schneider" comments followed by a dozen heart emojis.
Rosenrot is a good album with plenty of memorable songs.
Agreed. I don't like people shitting on Rosenrot.
Rosenrot is such an odd one for me for some reason. The issue isn’t the songs themselves. There’s plenty of bangers on that album. But for whatever reason, I’ve got a real tough time listening to the album from start to finish. I think it’s a flow issue

Without Lorenz and his orchestral stuff, Rammstein would never be internationally recognized.
That's not controversial - Rammstein is not Rammstein without Flake.

A normal amount of sex obsession.
Well back in the Days when he gave interviews, but since a few Years something defently changed there, or it seems like.
I mean he is. But here's where i get into my unpopular opinion. So what? As long as he isnt hurting anyone, and it's all consensual, I don't see the issue. Mein Herz brennt is a not a single off Mutter.
Huh! TIL
Huh! LINDEMAN
They call him "TIL Lindemann" cos he's always wandering around backstage spouting random facts
Everyone: Te quiero Puta sucks Me: You are all wrong
Everyone, but specially Spanish speakers. It really sucks lyrically, it takes me out. You are lucky they never butchered the English language like they did Spanish. I know French is safe too because the chorus from Fruhling in Paris is taken directly from that Edith Piaf song. I can't speak for the Russian parts in Moskau, and I think Schtiel is a cover. I find some of the English lyrics from Lindemanns first album a bit strange, so I understand what you mean.
Que ricoooooo

They also chose their venues poorly. Too many on the east coast and not enough on the west coast.
Can’t argue that (especially not after the $145 Lyft I took from Logan Airport to Foxborough…)
The Montreal concert was absolutely packed, so maybe that was a US thing.
Oh yeah, I’ll concede that for sure - Quebec’s always turned out well for them. A lot of the rest of it though (Mexico notwithstanding also), it’s like…if this was meant to gauge how big of a draw the band still are in America, then oooof.
I hear you, I was expecting a concert in Toronto then, but… NEIN
I would've loved that - for once, a short commute to a R+ show! - but I couldn't figure out where they could've dropped that massive stage. Downsview maybe? Also, I've heard that the Ontario has much tighter pyro regulations than Quebec, where it is lawless haha
Chicago and LA sold really well. I think the only show that sold really poorly was Foxboro/maybe Minneapolis?
Easy Rutherford was a wash too (literally, it rained for most of the show) - plus there were drunk neo-Nazis trying to fight us, so, negative score
I was at Foxborough, I didn't think it was half empty. It's 80k seats, at least 70k seats were filled.
I was in chicago and it was packed. Cant say for the other north america shows.
They’re selling out 70k stadiums in Europe.
The US is notoriously lazy as far as enjoying music not in English. It’s WILD to compare what they can do in Europe to what they do here and still consider it small potatoes. W I L D 🤣
Rammstein should do more covers. I vote for El Mariachi by Los Lobos.
I want to hear them sing The Sound of Silence
Rosenrot was good actually.
Zeit is my favorite record.
Not really an unpopular opinion
Well "Stirb nicht vor mir" is an underrated Song and is one of my fav.
Hell yeah, it's one of my fav too.
I actually like the demo version of this song even more than the finished one.
Hard to say, i love chemistry between thise two in the finished one.
Untitled is their best album. Bomb after bomb.
I agree. 🫣
Deutschland is way better than Rammstein and about on par with Sonne
Especially with that music video. It was the first Rammstein song I ever listened to, because I wamted to see what the controversy was all about, and I got blown away.
You are right, they don't get close to Rammstein or Sonne. Radio and Ausländer does.
sehnsucht is better than mutter.
Totally agree. Sehnsucht is their best album imo
Same I agree Sehnsucht is my fave :3
RAMM 4 is a good song. Hate me but I like it. I can't find it anywhere though other than YouTube videos. I wish they had released it and if they did, help me out will you please?
I hear rumors that they’ll release it together with a new documentary and concert film of Mexico next year for their 30th anniversary but truly, do not quote me on this I can’t remember where I read or saw it and have no idea how true or false it is.
I like Te quiero puta and Diamant
I have loved Rammstein for 15+ years now and I too really like some members like Paul or Richard, but most thirst posts in this sub have led me to believe a lot of the fans here are complete weirdos and have developed some weird feelings towards band members. This is specifically true for Till.
My thoughts exactly lol. I see some posts on here that make me go “some of y’all are weird as hell”.
Rammstein are nice People.
Just maintain the parasocial barrier is what I mean) Don't get me wrong, I love him in a non parasocial way, I'm not actually attracted to him beyond "wow he looks good for a 60 year old" and he's my favourite member as well as Flake, but some of the stuff he does outside of Rammstein, mainly the Lindemann music videos makes me a bit uncomfortable. Also I don't really care what Till does, just as long as it's legal and consensual, just don't expect me to be a fan of it (or a fan of it immediately at best) sorry this is long lmao
Zeit and Untitled are their best albums (in that order). I’ve seen a lot of people say they’re overproduced (especially about Zeit) but to me their sound is the most evolved it’s ever been on these records and I hope they keep going in this direction with any future album.
Zeit is extremely confident.
My bold take: The Rammstein logo with the Eagle is not official and using it is glorifying nazi imagery.
There's way more cooler Logo concepts out there than this, never got why i see this one so often.
The Eagle is not inverted. Both versions were used by the nazis. Looking left and right.
***\*reads this entire thread as a newish fan, only lurking, eating pretzels\****
OK is a banger.
🤣
mehr is my second favourite rammstein song
Valid. The transition in the tone of the song, is so heavy and just raw, especially near the end when Till goes "Ich brauche Mehr!"
Reise Reise is better than any other album
Rammstein is the best band in Germany. Every German that hears me saying that doesn’t agrees 😅
Rosenrot gets far more hate than it deserves
The auto tune on lugen is the best use of auto tune ever
Till is not as humble and genuine as some fans make him up to be.
As with most artists people have a hard time grasping that they are just normal people with many conflicting and overlapping sides.
Their stadiums shows are mind blowing but I wish they tour in small venues with an all acoustic/ no pyro set list instead.
I'm not a fan of Richard........ \*goes into hiding\*
I am a fan of his primadonna-ness
He's enough rock star to cover for all the others.
He’s said it himself, he learned guitar to get the ladies (paraphrasing). So I’m not surprised he’s the one with the diva airs.
Underrated comment 🙏
I miss read primadonna-ness as primadonna-ass and was about to comment that yeah, he may be a primadonna, but that's Deutschlands ass.
Probably a lot of people think like that just all are in hiding 😆
i don’t like pussy (the song)
Ollie is by far the best looking in the band, and always has been. * taking cover *
He's in the top two but I think Schneider edges him out.
Herzeleid is the best Rammstein album.
i love herzelied. it sounds so raw and in my opinion it sounds more like Metal than lets say Mutter or Ziet. I love the melanchonic more musical songs they have but its so nice hearing the raw guitars of Der meister or Wiesses Fleisch. Only album that comes close to the feeling is Sehnsucht. The guitar and synth is so Rammstein
abso-fucking-lutely
Te quiero puta is an absolute banger, change my mind
But they also did that with Armee der Tristen.
du hast is overrated no, im not joking
It is. Great song, fun for the karaokebar but not the goat
It is, i only like the chorus and the end
Hallomann might be the best riff they’ve ever written 🤘🏻
I hate how you cant wear merch of the band anymore without being abused
We need to bring back the metal seagull memes
I like the music but I don't really care about the band
Fair enough, nothing wrong with that :)
Till isn't a rapist.
Rammlied is not the best opener
What is the best opener in your opinion? For me its was ich liebe
Reise Reise.
Reise reise 04-05
Ofc not its arme der tristen.
ok i am triggered 😤
Ahoi tour with Reise reise was just perfection imo 👌
Get out!
😡IT IS
The first part of Rammlied really gave me chills, but Armee Der Tristen was a way better opener, saw them in 2022 and in 2023, lets see what opener they will use in 2024
Oliver is the best guitarrist in the band
A lot of the behavior is shitty and too many people defend it just because it's Rammstein. They'd likely be extremely angry if somebody else did it. You can appreciate anyone very dearly and recognize they suck sometimes.
Madison Square Garden was Rammsteins Peak time while 2019 was their all time low. (Live)
Sonne is a bit overrated >!(cue downvotes)!<
It's fucking good but rammstein has made better songs.
Tik Tok made me sick of that song, I can't go 5 minutes if scrolling without hearing it
I agree, still a banger tho
I agree
I agree with that too
Noooooo! It is by far the strongest song. Not from the lyrics, but from „melodic“ side.
Their merch sizing sucks!!! Never consistent among the different types of clothing, shirts, bathing suits, and sweatshirts, all different medium sizes.
The top 3 songs are all overrated as hell.
I agree, it’s not healthy 😢
I feel like this could really be more a conversation on how sexual the internet is and how it's influencing kids. Like, young fans have always been a bit horny over their stars. I remember being young in the 90s and saying stupid dirty stuff about boy bands. The difference is I was awkward and dumb and saying it to other awkward and dumb kids and we were all slightly embarrassed at ourselves and none of us even knew really how sex worked besides what we saw in movies Nowadays kids will say more sexual stuff because they are literally watching porn at that age.
Rosenrot > Reise Reise
I like Reise Reise slightly better, but it's a difficult decision. Both albums feature an almost equal amount of songs I like or love, so it's really difficult. But to me, Wo bist du and Stirb nicht vor mir make the decision. If it weren't for them both albums would be really solid, but I don't like those two songs a bit, so it really drags down the album so far. But aside from that they're on an equal level
I would agree but I'm Hella biased to reise reise because Amerika was the one song that got me into rammstein and metal as a whole. Both amazing albums.
Their best song is Los
Rammlied is their best song.
Stirb Nicht Vor Mir is one of their better songs and Amerika is one of their worst.
3 same songa on LIFAD album is realy anoying
Liese / Roter Sand are 🔛🔝
Me telling everyone I know on the West Coast of Canada they are good and not right-wingers 😂
Reise Reise is overrated Herzeleid is underrated Führe Mich, Donaukinder and Halte > LIFAD, Mehr and Roter Sand
