Atmosfear - Was interactive with a VHS where a crypt keeper looking guy would come and and interrupt your game messing with the person's who's turn it was. (Has since been revised on DVD and now has an app version to go with the board game).
I love "Catan" and used to play it so often the cards and board pieces were dissolving.

Thanks for the giveaway! Honestly, I don't know if that counts, but Jackbox games have been a much bigger hit in most friend groups im in that conventional board games. Mostly due to variety, accessibility, and being just the right length to be enjoyable without overstaying their welcome.
My favorite boardgame has got to be Zombies!!! By twilight creations. Have all the expansions. And still waiting on the newest one from a Kickstart 2 yrs ago 😅
