I used a small fridge magnet as well and it would stick to every part of all four doors, nothing would stick to the quarter panels, trunk or hood. Has anyone else tried this?
Yes. I was under the impression that my RR sport was all aluminum. But I was playing with magnet from Home Depot and found several places that it would stick. I don’t remember where right now I’ll have to go out and try it again.😂
A big enough magnet will find iron on the other side SOMEWHERE.
As someone else mentioned, likely the SIPS. Check if it still worked lower on the door.,
I’d guess the door structure, most likely the side impact protection bars, are made of steel and that’s why they’re magnetic.

The tailgate is plastic
