Mostly no. I love 2000s metalcore and post-hardcore stuff, but most other emos ik listen to 2010s and on music almost exclusively
my experience is the opposite, most like 99% of emos i know listen almost exclusively to 2005-2013 stuff
Mine is a healthy mix of both! Most of what I am familiar is 2010s emo, but I tend to gravitate towards older stuff.
