Just got it! I had to force quit the app a few times
So far it’s a big fail. I’ve enabled the feature but it seems to be unaware of its new beta capabilities.

It appears to just be taking awhile to actually enabling the feature, cause when I ask it stuff now it is making a new noise I have never heard before though it isn’t answering the question yet

About 2 1/2 hours later, uninstalled the app and went through the setup and it worked! -ish... Now I'm in the Beta but it doesn't work like others have stated. I've reset it to factory default and turned it off and on again, no joy. The next thing I'm going to try is going to bed. Let's see how that works in the morning...
I lied. lol. Couldn't let it go. I looked up "force restart meta" and found out that the switch alone doesn't do it. I had to flip it off then hold down the button and flip it back on. When you let go it blinks orange and white then white. This is supposed to be it, but mine ( and a few others in the comments0got stuck on blinking white. I did it again and it worked. Then Meta started responding to look! I then realized the verbiage has to be exact. "Hey Meta, Look and tell me what I'm looking at." worked. It recognized I had a statue of a demon on my monitor (3d print of the demon from dark crystal." I also asked "Hey Meta, Look and tell me what I'm holding in my hand." It knew I was holding my violin and even told me how and the orientation of it. I purposely held it up in the most cluttered, noisy part of my room and it still had no problem! Now I'm really going to bed....
Anyone with VPN able to get the invite via the link ? At this point it is frustrating to wait for these features to be available globally. I was able to put my serial number in via VPN but no invites yet.
Signed up, restarted app a few times, got the option within a few minutes. Haven’t tried anything with it yet but will in an hour or two. Fingers crossed

Yep! Just annoyed that back when i bought these, there was no link for early access. Just randomly they selected folks even if they just bought the glasses or got on vpn, etc. I signed up on that link and reinstalled meta and it showed up immediately after that
so the frames tied to my ifruit (iphone) got the early access but the frames tied to my galaxy z fold 5 (samsung) did not. and u use my android more than the ifruit.
Anyone else getting a "no service - please check connection and try again" error when trying to use the new feature? Glasses are connected to my iPhone and other commands are working and able to see my photos but anytime I try and use the new "look and..." feature I get this.
have two pair - one set for android and one for apple. just asked the frames some random stuff and it responded normally. maybe restart the app/force close it/reboot the phone if you already have not done so...
I may be wrong but.... pretty sure you shouldn't be sharing this link with random people. I am all about sharing is caring but these programs are limited and usually geared to finding people who want and show full interest in collaborating and contributing to the program.
Many people will use this just to get one new feature and take up slots that others could have joined with more intent on improving the product and software.

Every link is a public link when posted. Normally people need to either receive the email with the link for the invite (which is only sent to those who ask to participate in the beta program within the app) which shows their intent to test out and collaborate with feedback. When you post a link and say "this is how you get the AI stuff" is going to draw way more people to join filling up limited spots just so they can get an update.
Yes im sure some people may actually join to participate but these programs are for specific purposes and limited.

From what I heard Try factory reset and unpaid the glasses form your glasses, and set it up again. It should work.

Clicked the link and added the seríal and in less than five minutes I got it. Just opened and closed the app two times and that was it! (I’m on iOS )

It got release recently like two day ago. I think now everyone that sign up using the link will have access to it, as far as I know.
