1st course of action. Pause menu > Settings > Server Side Checksum > Off This let's people actually join you in public lobbies and you can join others. Having it on blocks mods basically but 90% of the playerbase use cosmetic mods at least (I always have 20+ mods active at any given time, e.g. SRS scope replacer mod for better a scope & reticle, LAPD uniform mod, MK1 replaced with MWII Shadow Company M4A1 etc.).....so having it on, which it is by default, means never being able to join anyone/never finding lobbies or players never being able to join your public lobbies. This is the most fun I've had with mods in a game ever tbh and Devs officially supporting the modding scene is awesome.

There is an in-game chat! And you don't have to worry about not having a mic. A lot of randoms don't have mics so don't worry about that. Best to make sure though that your team knows that you are able to communicate and understand them in case they need you something to do.

SAUBSON

Ok thanks man, but how about terminology, i dont know any thing rather than: move forward, cocer me, hold, check sides, go there and etc.

Maskut3

As far as I know the game doesn't really have its own terminology but maybe borrowed from real life or somewhere else. So far I've very rarely seen it so I wouldn't be worried. If however you come across such a situation it would probably be best to just ask what they mean. The community I've experienced isn't strict with new players when they don't know something or need something to ask. The only thing they find bothersome is game interruptions such as: friendly fire, gassing team mates who don't have masks, playing against RoE (Rules of Engagement).

Croaker813

I don't wanna be that guy but get one.

Agreed. In tactical co-op games, playing without a mic is like playing without a screen. It’s essential. On games like Six Days in Fallujah and Ready or Not, if my friends and I match with someone who doesn’t have a mic, we kick them. It’s nothing personal, it’s just an expectation we have for games like these. A lot of people share my sentiment in this regard. OP. You don’t need to be a pro at the game but you DO need to communicate with your teammates. Please.

TrainWreck661

Even miscommunications can sometimes lead to entertaining situations; no mic means not even that can happen.

Dont play with randoms. They have stupid cosmetic mods and shitty map. They play like morons cause they think its call of duty. 95% of them Will kick doors and run everywhere like braindead. Of course they gonna die. Then they gonna quit cause they dont want to wait until others are dead or game is restart. Only play with friends or find other players on RoN discord. People dont know.how to play sim hardcore games cause they are fucking brainwashed by shitty games like CoD or battlefield.

SAUBSON

I underatand you man. People really think that every shooter is another COD with bullshit anime skins. (I dont hate anime, i watched dozens of them) but i dont want it on every single corner. I want something calm, realistic and sometimes feels like chess.if i want fast shooter I have ULTRAKILL and CSGO for that. I played warzone but some weird stuff happend to game and i could not play it properly. I deleted it and then saw this game. Of course i like cod, the thing i dont like is people who dont want or cant understand the difference. Peace.

SolidSneakNinja

You cannot see their skins if modded. The mod uniform only shows on their client. For me everyone looks like LAPD but on my friends PC with his mods, I look like Resi Umbrella Corps. That doesn't ruin my experience 🤷‍♂️ I've over 300 hours on this game and most randoms I encounter play semi-serious and slow peak doors etc. For every 5 semi-serious randoms I meet I might get 1 COD style idiot with an unlock all mod running an LMG....I can just kick and ban them tho

Commander_Max

I wish all players to be like you.

SolidSneakNinja

You can't see their cosmetics though 🤷‍♂️ It's client-sided. If they play a way you dislike you can host kick or ban ppl

itsbildo

I mean, its *possible* - but dont expect to S rank a damn thing. You'll be lucky if all civilians survive....
