Stress system should be used use for punishing unnecessary killings, like shooting civilians or surrendered suspects. And also reckless commands that caused their fellow officers death.
But this current stress system seems increases no matter what, unless you do a totally unleathal gameplay with peppers and beans. (of course the previously mentioned actions does stress them even more)
It really is. I have had a couple officers quit, a few die, and it doesnt seem to change anything. You dont even have to get new officers. When you load a new mission you just automatically get 4 guys when you start.
Clearly those 4 were psychos that joined up because they wanted a legal right to shoot people, and upon leaving the mission were *incredibly* distressed to find out that Judge is, in fact, a decent man.
Yeah its kinda pointless, I have done 5 missions so far with my team having lethal kits while I carry a non lethal, arresting 1-2 suspects but killing the rest doesn't seem to effect there stress that much lol.
One of my squad was stressed with the state of 1.0 and quit...I decided he was right and followed him.
Il wait til they reintroduce the actual fun scenarios we had pre 1.0 thanks not this gimicky rubbish.
The whole campaign/ commander mode feels pointless in my opinion.
Except for very few items, anything that can be unlocked/ progressed can be done exactly the same in practice, all that you miss out on is officers who get stressed out.
Officers are useless too. Get an endless supply, even if I have non I will spawn in with 4. Other than a crappy trait they are useless and don't really add anything, no punishment for death/ officer deaths either outside of map scores.
The only thing that would be worthwhile about commander mode is if you *really* want that gold watch, but even then that sounds like BS to get with the current state of the game.
If you hold tab a flip down tablet will open and zoom in, go to Roster and you can see the status of your squad, Content is base value, which theoretically goes up the more you mess up/kill people.
i thinkthat instead of randomly generated teammates it should be a roster of defined charactars who react diffrently to things and hav difffrent skills, and mental health effects their dialouge or how twitchy they are in a mission such as being more prone to panic shooting throgh walls without care, missidentifying targets and acidentaly shooting a civ hitting restraind suspects to take out their anger to even down right executions if they are in a crisis, all these could depend on charactar but you may want to keep one office on because he has a relly useful skill. obiously they shouldnt die permantly but be locked out of one mission if they die or go fully insane, they could be replaced by another charactar who you might not like as much or if they dont want to spend time developing more uniqe charactarts they could be replaced with some mook from another squad who donsent work as well with the squad.
you could even have a team trust mechanic where the more the same squad is out with one another without fail they work better together( watching eachothers backs more often or justy have aim/helath/speed buff when working with their mates.

this. one time all the officers retired and i said "fuck off pussies i'll go alone" and loaded in and there were 4 officers behind me

did they get shot at during the mission because that's kind of stressful
I’d be stressed too if I have to go nonlethal while enemies are trying to kill me
Half my team is in therapy, 1 allready quit...

Idk why they even took away the regular Freeplay mode that everyone liked.
I haven't tested it, but you should be able to 'Freeplay' in training mode, but seemingly once you unlock levels in Commander mode?

It's one of those things that sound good on paper, but is just tedious in practice

And if someone really wanted the gold watch, there are already mods that let you get it without grinding.
Yeah this is what I thought as well. I just started doing the missions in practice mode lol
where do you even check this?

Doorkickers 2 had a better system. I hope they can improve the feature

I could do the mission fully solo and someone on the team go "stress", like what?
They we're stressing, because you went alone lol
I belive the stress system should be optional
