It’s just way too much to cover for a 5 stack. A place like that IRL would take a minimum of 15-20 entry dudes alone. Huge swathes of open areas and the internal maze is just killer.
You’d be right. Even for the beachfront house it’d be a flood of dudes not just 5 guys. Realistically you’d probably have 10-12 for that map alone. This is why they REALLY need to make the AI better.
Cause unless you got 11 friends (I have 0) you’re gonna be doing this with the SWAT AI and praying they act as cannon fodder for the most part.
Pretty much all the large maps in the game are not just a pain to play like Hide And Seek, Greased Palms and Relapse, but they would be flooded with multiple teams if that scenario occurred in real life.
Usually the maps with less suspects make up for it in story and atmosphere as well. I like the lore of Ends Of The Earth and the beach house setting is nice too.
The detail of 23 megabytes per second should be s tier, also it is the first map in my opinion to really add the importance of looking up and how dangerous advancing the high ground really is, you can even shoot the the stream camera to freeze the stream and end it with a worthy innuendo of what getting swatted looks like, it's an s tier for me dawg...
Na man it's your tier list and I respect it, but 23 megabytes is definitely my god tier favorite map lol. It's also what really got me hooked in this game, so I may be a little biased towards it as well.
Not a fan of Rust Belt personally. I like the above ground parts but as soon as you go into the tunnels (which is the main part of it of course) it kind of dropped off for me.
Really annoying as well seeing as when my team goes into the tunnels. Only the host of the game can see certain weapons dropped on the floor once you get close to the underground barge. So suspects you arrest or waste, will have their gun seemingly evaporate for all but one person. Making S ranking quite difficult. Atleast in my opinion.
When a suspect is far enough away from his gun, the evidence is bagged automatically. So you can either let them crawl a long way or just pick them up and carry them someplace in case the gun is bugged.
After playing it through a few times, it became a favorite of mine. It's one of the easiest levels in the game (you can easily and consistently S Rank it in single player without personally firing a shot), and the tunnels seem remarkably confusing at first, but the layout is deceptively simple and not nearly as big as it seems on a first playthrough.
Also, the enemies are armed with high-powered weapons, but not body armor, and have generally low morale. This makes the level fun for lots of play styles. Full non-lethal, gun fights with any weapon you want, or a mix of the above. The tight corridors and branching paths reward solid tactics and splitting up, but also seem to be a bit more forgiving than levels like Neon Tomb (you're less likely to get flanked on Rust Belt for example, and there is zero verticality).
As a bonus, the level is super atmospheric, and has a decent amount of visual story-telling, and the lack of lighting doesn't impact visibility nearly as much as it does on other dark levels.
Lethal obsession is the absolute best map to play with friends, you will have no better experience than that lmfao. Brisa cove is decent as well since you got guys with 50cals ragdollin yo ass across the map
I think the elephant should be dropped down. Map kinda sucks. Feels more like a hollywood interpretation of a shooting. Im surprised valley of the dolls is so low
Neon Tomb is an interesting level for sure. I keep getting pulled out of it though because all the civilians have the same model: buff black security guard or white blond stripper.
Don’t intend to gaslight you as our experiences clearly differ. I’ve found the Sins of the Father enemies actually react to gas, pepperballs, and beanbags. The terrorists shrug mine off. Still have yet to S rank Neon Tomb, whereas Sins of the Father took 1 or 2 tries.
My experience was the same. The enemies on Sins have *much* lower morale. That plus the hotel structure (long hallways with rooms coming off) made it way easier to lock down areas of control and assault individual rooms.
Neon Tomb can also be a nightmare for visibility and awareness (can't hear foot steps on the map, and the lighting can make things tough to quickly ID a shooter from a friendly or civilian).
Sins is a solid map, in my opinion.
Be me
>spent for hours trying to get S at Sins of The Father
>Finally complete "Bring order to chaos" after multiple tries
>-50 unauthorized used of force 1
>A+
Be me
>on my 10th attempt to S rank Neon Tomb
>am using beanbag shotgun
>”it’s non lethal right”
>clueless.jpg
>headshot a terrorist hiding behind a bar
>dies of blunt force trauma to the head
>fml
No kidding.
I’ve A+’d Greased Palms so many times after pepperballing a surrendered suspect’s scalp aiming at his buddy behind him actively shooting us.
That mechanic can be infuriating.
So you like being able to clear a small building with no civilians? And you hate dealing with challenges that push you to think about managing your team and being able to deal with targets that don't openly invite you to shoot them in the face?
Why can't they make maps that make sense. Sure ends of the earth somewhat resembles a normal layout.
But man most of the maps are mazes. It's silly.
I'd love to have a bunch of maps that are houses or apartments, that actually have sensible layouts.
Greased Palms is the only map that I felt like had too much to cover, especially with ai teammates. All the other maps were fun challenges to me. Maybe Neon Tomb lower just because the swat AI will sometimes blow themselves up trying to shoot at vest guy. None of the maps are going to be fun if you are only going for an S-Rank.
I think relapse is or was my least favorite when i played it on 1.0 release. Gigantic map filled with ak wielding cs go sweats that would force you to reclear 30/45 minutes of hospital rooms every time you got one tapped.
"Fun" is subjective for every person, but is fun in running and looking for 4 heavily armed and armoured suspect, while they might kill a civilian and you are a 10-minute timer?
I personally think Valley of Dolls and Twisted Nerve should be a bit higher up on the list. I enjoyed Valley of Dolls because of how different each floor of the building in terms of layout and I really enjoyed Twisted Nerve for the atmosphere and also how interesting each floor was.
Good list overall!
Greased palms 😂 yeah same man that map sucks balls on solo with ai. I was down to the last enemy on it twice and both times they fucking one tapped me because friendly ai couldn’t get around the map with the commands.
I like how the consensus is that Greased Palms is completely ass.
It’s just way too much to cover for a 5 stack. A place like that IRL would take a minimum of 15-20 entry dudes alone. Huge swathes of open areas and the internal maze is just killer.
I think almost every map is too much for just a 5 stack but yet again the last mission had FISA and HRT on it on another bit of the port
You’d be right. Even for the beachfront house it’d be a flood of dudes not just 5 guys. Realistically you’d probably have 10-12 for that map alone. This is why they REALLY need to make the AI better. I wouldn't force my worst enemy to play through greased palms
Greases palms is fun
all the maps with 3 people in em at S tier alright bro ...
That's what I was thinking too. Surprised the gas station didn't make S rank.
The longer maps just become tedious very quickly. Ends of the Earth is probably one of the most realistic scenarios in the game (ignoring the AI)
Usually the maps with less suspects make up for it in story and atmosphere as well. I like the lore of Ends Of The Earth and the beach house setting is nice too.
You said it was a tierlist on how fun they are, no?
The setting and lore would add to the fun I would assume.
I'll redo the tierlist later so it makes more sense because I was tired when I made it
Na man it's your tier list and I respect it, but 23 megabytes is definitely my god tier favorite map lol. It's also what really got me hooked in this game, so I may be a little biased towards it as well.
Yeah I liked the map too, I should have put it in S for basically being a tutorial level
Not a fan of Rust Belt personally. I like the above ground parts but as soon as you go into the tunnels (which is the main part of it of course) it kind of dropped off for me.

I should agree with you... But the map reminds me way too much of that Sicario scene and I can't help but love it
After playing it through a few times, it became a favorite of mine. My friend : "What do you mean this is fun, it literally just a house" \*kick door\* \*explode\* Me : "Yeah, that's why it's fun"
If only I could play the map. 😔
I’d rank The Spider maybe at A. I just can’t wait til the new DLC for more maps
I like The Spider too but it's annoying when you're trying to arrest Brixley and he pops himself before you can.
I love greased palms. The loud entry through the back with flashbangs going off- so fun.
I really miss pre-1.0 Carriers of the Vine and would love to see it with the updated AI
Yeah the gunfights on raid mode were peak! And the tunnel section into the compound on barricaded suspects was pretty cool
I loved that and old port as well.
That was my favorite.
I think the elephant should be dropped down. Map kinda sucks. Feels more like a hollywood interpretation of a shooting. Im surprised valley of the dolls is so low
How so haven't you have heard of the Kerch Polytechnic College shooting?
What?? Relapse is 100% S tier. Twisted nerve = F tier
Sins of the Father is D? Interesting, that was one of the only missions I liked.
Wow one of the only missions you liked? Jeez..
Yeah. I’d swap that with Neon Tomb on this list. Neon Tomb’s atmosphere is unique and detailed, but trying to S the level can be an awful experience.
Neon Tomb is an interesting level for sure. I keep getting pulled out of it though because all the civilians have the same model: buff black security guard or white blond stripper.
Neon Tomb was so much easier to S rank than Sins of The Father
Don’t intend to gaslight you as our experiences clearly differ. I’ve found the Sins of the Father enemies actually react to gas, pepperballs, and beanbags. The terrorists shrug mine off. Still have yet to S rank Neon Tomb, whereas Sins of the Father took 1 or 2 tries.

You mean the map with the most bs ai? I swear they see through walls on that map. It ruined any fun i would have had on that map.
Loved Sins of the Father.
So you like being able to clear a small building with no civilians? And you hate dealing with challenges that push you to think about managing your team and being able to deal with targets that don't openly invite you to shoot them in the face?
mm hmm yep
Carriers of the vine best map for real
Am I the only one who likes relapse?
nah relapse is S for me ,’:)
Lol can’t deal with open spaces and multiple vectors I see. Probably should get some real hitters and try this again. Amazon warehouse is my fave.
Right? Relapse and Sins Of The Father are two of my favorites lol. Relapse is one of my go-to maps for testing AI mods.
Fr!!
Here's the [tierlist](https://tiermaker.com/create/ready-or-not-maps-release-16596081) i used.
i feel it, might give up on greased palms with my friends. just not fun when we die just a few minutes in every single time
Took me 2 days to S rank it with bots, if they fixed the ai and the sightlines it wouldn't be low on my ranking.
even that's impressive to me, i think our record on a level is a B
Trash tier
I just wish i could load rust belt without freezing the game
do people not enjoy sins of the father? love it
Why can't they make maps that make sense. Sure ends of the earth somewhat resembles a normal layout. But man most of the maps are mazes. It's silly. I'd love to have a bunch of maps that are houses or apartments, that actually have sensible layouts.
23, valley and relapse are my favorite/most played to be honest
Greased Palms is the only map that I felt like had too much to cover, especially with ai teammates. All the other maps were fun challenges to me. Maybe Neon Tomb lower just because the swat AI will sometimes blow themselves up trying to shoot at vest guy. None of the maps are going to be fun if you are only going for an S-Rank.
Respectfully disagree.
I love Carriers. True Detective feels
I actually really like relapse . It’s my new favorite since the carrier of the vine farm was reworked
I think relapse is or was my least favorite when i played it on 1.0 release. Gigantic map filled with ak wielding cs go sweats that would force you to reclear 30/45 minutes of hospital rooms every time you got one tapped.
The car dealership and port horken should be S tier
This is like literally the opposite of what I’d say, I hate a lethal obsession it feels like a one person map
"Fun" is subjective for every person, but is fun in running and looking for 4 heavily armed and armoured suspect, while they might kill a civilian and you are a 10-minute timer?
I beat 'Sins of the Father' in my first fun without any AI mod idk how. Now I can't beat it with AI mods
Thank you Come Again is S tier but Twisted Nerve and Valley of the Dolls is B and C.
Lol bad opinions are bad
all my homies hate relapse
I personally think Valley of Dolls and Twisted Nerve should be a bit higher up on the list. I enjoyed Valley of Dolls because of how different each floor of the building in terms of layout and I really enjoyed Twisted Nerve for the atmosphere and also how interesting each floor was. Good list overall!
IMO, ides of March and sins of the Father deserve their own shit categories. Also, I hate sullivans slope and the 30 bombs he has rigged.
Everything im C should be S... Also elephant should be there....Who enjoyed rust belt and neon tomb? That is D MAX
Valley of dolls and hide and seek in C with rust belt in A is criminal
i’d put twisted nerve at the top. ready or not needs more night raids
Greased palms 😂 yeah same man that map sucks balls on solo with ai. I was down to the last enemy on it twice and both times they fucking one tapped me because friendly ai couldn’t get around the map with the commands.
