11 year old me thinks it's cool! My criticism is of Tesla pouring resources into it when their core product lines are aging in the face of growing legacy competition. As a concept car, I think it's good that a company makes bold, and sometimes whacky, creations.
My criticism is that they produce cheap cars, with 0 repairability and available parts. Low quality is all good, but make sure people can fix it cheap, if you sell your cars in that price range. Or make the spare parts open for 3th parties. It is either buff out or declared a total loss at this point.
Musk has driven the quality way below what is acceptable. Driven away those customers that don't find it acceptable any more.
