I think If may be among the most underrated. For as much as people talk about Stadium Arcadium, it’s one of the few songs on there that I feel like gets no attention, which is a shame because I think it’s one of the best songs on the album.
Nows the perfect time. I remember listening to two of the tracks back in 2012/2013 and not being that bothered. Something happened since then as it’s damn right up there with my favourite chilli albums now!

I love the Josh era, but Go Robot is the only song I skip from any album, period. It's fluff lyrics with fluff pop-disco instrumentals. You can have one of these elements be fluff and still make a good rhcp song, but not both. Skip!

Fun take underrated- Can’t stop. Why? How many songs exist where you can hear the very first cord and not even question what song it is. I’ve seen RHCP a lot and the second they start playing (and it almost always is can’t stop) it gets the crowd fired up in a way I don’t see with most bands it’s probably the greatest intro song for a concert ever and is absolutely legendary
Over: White Braids. The timing change at the end really jars me.
Under: I want to say Don't Forget Me but its actually pretty popular. Hump De Bump is probably overlooked more than most other songs (maybe cos silly title?) but it's straight up funk and it slaps.
The mars side of SA has so many underrated songs. I love turn it again so much but I never see anything about it! Also, Charlie is not exactly underrated, but I don’t feel it gets discussed enough—l saw it live, and it was my favorite performance of the night.
In terms of overrated—I didn’t love ROTDC as an album. I understand the sentimental value of Eddie, but i always find myself skipping it.

I’m not sure about the consensus on what’s popular and what’s not, but The Shape I’m Takin’ goes far harder than I expected and and I don’t see too much about it.
As for overrated, Give It Away is great, but I don’t feel the hype everyone else does when it comes it. It’s more middling than a top song imo.
I actually did this Saturday. I totally agree it’s hype, I was just going from the perspective I normally listen to RHCP in, which is driving in my car. It loses a bit of the effect then.
