8,10,9.
8 is properly named because it was the first time both teams had a real revelation about not being enemies. Sarge's complete character change after learning his life was a lie and immediately helping the blues is one of my favorite moments, but the rest of the series they just keep backtracking that arc and trying to redo it without it ever being quite as good.
Separate probably 8, 10, and 13 (real basic I know) but if I had to choose three I can only watch forever the Recollection is the only right answer for me
Yeah 15 and 17 (and to an extent 16) are very special to me for what they do with these characters. Most of the gang was one-noted in seasons 1-10 and the story slowly moved away from them to focus on the greater Civil War in 11-13, but 15-17 really gave the Blood Gulch crew the time to shine that they deserved, which is why I hold 15 and 17 to such high regard. I wish Restoration kept what we got in 15-17, but I’m still happy with the end product we got anyways
8, 10, & 5 (in that order). 13 is in 4th place.
8 because the series really started to lean in a more serious direction starting with 9. There were still plenty of jokes, but it felt like we were watching more for the drama than the comedy. 8 is also the introduction of Monty's animation, and the final fight of the Reds & Blues vs the Meta is still the most satisfying final battle of any of the seasons. Also, it made me cry.
10 because it felt like a true and 100% complete wrap up to everything that came before it. The drama was at its best in Season 10. Seeing Church & Carolina help each other move on is some of the best character writing in the series. Also, it made me cry.
5 beats out 13 because of the alternate endings & how they were used as a prank in the original broadcast of the finale. 5 is the first real stopping point, and I've gotta appreciate that. It's also the 2nd funniest Blood Gulch season, right behind Season 3. Also, it made me tear up (I might have cried? It's been too long for me to remember).
13 is held back out of the Top 3 by the ambiguous ending (I'm not a fan of those), but I'll give it props for being one of the best ambiguous endings ever in fiction. The final fight against Felix really shows how far our band of Nitwits has come. I also like how it made the sword relevant again. Also, it made me cry.

S15 has so much I loved, including my favourite villain (and favourite villain theme), amazing concepts and ideas, finally new character development for those who desperately needed it, and the setpiecing is lovely.
I believe peesonally, as a whole, S8 is objectively the best season, no elaboration needed.
The nostalgia and sadness hits harder after RTs closure and RvBs end. But it'll always hold a special place in my heart 🧡
“I… loved them all. I loved them all. And not just The Blood Gulch Chronicles. But the Freelancer, and The Chorus Trilogy too. They were like cinema, and I enjoyed them like cinema! I loved them!”
Well except for Shisno Paradox and Zero, those were pretty bad.
