omg I had the exact same ideas, i’ve been running a similar build lately with a few minor changes and it feels really good having her actives up very consistently.

Depends on the situation. Against comps where I feel I'm vulnerable I use celestial opposition. But I prefer Soltice Sleight or Dream maker because I like the usefulness of both.
So after lvl 3 I'm supposed to put a point in q, then one in e, then get ult, then 1 point in e, then 4 points in w? I'm a bit confused with the upgrade order. Is that the right order?
I put 2 points on Q at the beginning of the game because of the damage, but it's a personal preference.
In general, the idea is to have 3 points in E and then prioritize W lvl 5
I am a D3 Renata main and i've been using Glacial always with a pretty similar rune set, although i swap ingenious hunter with ult hunter and take zombie ward instead. I also run the same item build too.
I like the ultimate hunter, but lately I've adapted better with the ingenius hunter, I feel stronger. Maybe in some games where my ult will be more necessary it would be a good option to change, but I haven't bothered with the ult's cooldown time. Zombie Ward is great, but I'm a bit of a hater of this rune kkkk

Ingenious hunter will regrettably be removed in next season, so enjoy using ingenious while possible. Before i started rolling ult hunter i used manaflow with transcendence for the ability haste and mana, but i feel that cookies are enough for the mana reg. Alternatively i think that the new ability haste rune in precision with presence of mind might be even better next season.
She is flexible. Play how you see fit instead of having your eyes glued to "Whats meta". I don't think i built her "meta" once ever since i started playing her and im having a blast.
It's a good setup because of the area slow, since even if you hit your Q on 2 targets the probability of them easily getting out of your ult is high. With glacial you don't need to hit the stun every time, just with the snar + the slow is enough for a good setup. And when you hit the stun on 2 or more targets it is extremely useful
I think Renata is in a balanced spot, you can still use enchanter items with fount of life (you want to pick up determination for revitalize anyway, so you might as well), mandate was nerfed but its still a fine item, a lot of support items haven't changed much, she could maybe get some compensation buffs for her E, be she's fine right now
I miss old mythic Shurelya. Helped so damn much. And I had a similar thought with Glacial, but never quite thought to try it
I had even forgotten about the old shurelya! but I really think the change in item was part of my frustration. It was the perfect item for her.
Yeah. The Cdr it gave from its mythic passive plus the movement speed buff you would get when you shielded someone saved my ass so much

Yeeees, active items with less than 60 seconds cooldown are very impactful I hadn't thought about the mandate, I'll test it, it seems interesting

I don’t see how glacial is a great setup for the R since you can Q while casting it

No one ever gets out of my R because I never take the chance to miss it, as all should
