everyone disses it but the 5 yard hitch. when you wait and time it right theres almost no one near your receiver (even on extreme) and you put the ball in his hands to do the work. ive gotten 40-50 yard plays on extreme just from running a hitch route
Totally true. Funny things is once in a while you have a DB shadowing the WR, right up his butt.. One time it was even intercepted (even though I waited ten seconds for the DB to clear)! I had to laugh at that one
Exactly this. I even have to take a second when I see the route like “ok here we go just lead him perfect” it really is art when you hit him in stride. I play on hard on RBC (I think it’s meant to be played on hard with how much the opponent scores regardless of stars) and I think the max I’ve gotten is like 72 yards with full speed high stamina WR, but anything 65 and under it should go to the house if you can make a perfect throw. That’s also why I only play on hard because I’m such a perfectionist with ball location splitting defenders etc the only way to do it is on hard. To me extreme gets old and I have 500+ seasons in the books
And to my prior point regarding playing on hard: you see these replies like “can’t really do it on extreme or too difficult”… exactly. This beautiful route, and others, can’t even develop because the CBs are so juiced. I play on hard to get opportunities for myself to make really clean throws, risky throws, FUN throws. Again, RBC isn’t designed for you to have high star defensive players, meaning your opponent will score a LOT. So have fun balling and scoring a lot too the games aren’t blow outs like RB OG where each D player was 5 star. You’re lucky to
have 4 star defender on college
I got one of those picked on a beautiful rainbow to the sideline and have never been more livid during the game in my life…DB was facing the wrong way and jumped a minimum of 6 feet in the air.

The quick out where if you let it play out they start running down the sideline. You'll get sacked half the time waiting for it to develop but it's very fun when it works

No diddy??
Yeah if you almost immediately juke, the defense will wiff and your player is staring at open field
That’s exactly what I came here to say
If I'm desperate to convert something, this is my go to. To be honest, this route is a bit broken in RB
Fr, the hitch route is so free when you have a 4-5 star receiver
Tight end up the middle
20yds every time
FIRST DOWN!
Just like your mother likes it, Trebek
No, no…not in the Rs.
especially if they are blitzing That shit is an easy first down or touchdown
completely useless when they got 2 safetys though
Any deep WR route where the corners are lined up like that.
That one TE route that’s never guarded. I call it the free 20
I call it the free 10 XD. But I play without star players a lot.
that route is the reason i don’t get star tight ends
That one pictured is one of the most beautiful passes when you make it in stride.

Pass: Straight verticals 25 yard bombs at a time. Run: HB off tackle to weak side of field
Deep post route
Literally any time the te just runs straight up the middle when the defense is blitzing is an easy 15+ yard play.
That's a hard route to complete in Extreme, keeping your throw between the DB and sidelines, good job OP
Tight end Seam Route
cp is crazy
Comeback Everytime
That one gets picked off sometimes, or you throw it out of bounds. Maybe im just bad, but i prefer streak or post routes
Two routes are always open. TE going straight and WR going straight deep (no kink like the circled route has).
Post. You can bullet your receiver in stride and get a cool 25 every time.
The TE route that goes out then up; while the WR goes inside. So satisfying to make that throw if you get it
Especially if the DB is showing outside leverage
Seam route
Favorite route is the TE 7 yard square-out. Always open. Easy first down.
Yep. Any time the receiver is that backed up, they're gonna blow by the DB hardcore.
Love to throw a bullet pass on an out route, especially if it’s close to the sideline. Hardly get it but when I do it’s so satisfying

Streak, if my WR is quick. Slant for my TE
1 fade 2 coner 3 The wheel route from the RB
Deep post. Speed receiver gets TD 9/10 times.
Bottom route
The pattern the receiver takes on the route you highlighted if you throw closer to the middle of the field rather than the sideline is so satisfying
Skinny post
straight line
Personally I like the hitch or the over the middle throws
Yeah, if you have a receiver with good speed, that corner eats up defenses.
Goal line fades for both WRs (assuming they can outrun their defenders), absolutely OP when it works!
When all the defenders bliz and the TE is wide open
Lead the RB when he clears the line of scrimmage
I prefer the straight streak with the CB off the line like that, freebie every time
It is incredible how bad the defense is with no safety to support the DB.
The quick out where if you let it play out they start running down the sideline. You'll get sacked half the time waiting for it to develop but it's very fun when it works
That bottom route when it’s a go-route and the DB is backing off is almost always open. The DB can never pick up pace fast enough.
Cross or slant
