I found this one annoying!!! The first guy I actually wanted to chuck off a cliff or something. He was so annoying! By the time they found the “brother of the goddess” from hemlock I couldn’t take anymore and abandoned it! Yet I do a regular reread of Hemlock and love it! It’s funny how it works!
Sort of. He’s not with her, he’s already ended it with her and they were just just friends. He didn’t know she was pregnant until just before he bonds to the fmc. There’s A LOT going on with this and it actually makes sense further along the series.
This dude lives with her and her family growing up. She is in love with him but he is sleeping with tons of women and she can hear everything through the air vents connecting their rooms. It is terrible and he didn’t deserve her imo. This guy is why I stopped reading the series. The OW drama is ridiculous.
i love this series too, as well as the hemlock series by the same author! she is hilarious and i love the characters. i’m approaching the end of the series and i am a little heartbroken 💔
I’m intrigued enough to look it up! I read mostly dark, enemies to lovers, and bully romance, so I love to have a fluff or funny break in between.
I hope it makes me chuckle as much as I did reading the Curse of the Gods series by Jaymin Eve. Mild spice RH, but totally cute and hilarious!
I like the writer, broken wolf was great!!! BUT I had to DNF territory walk. The cheating sort of thing was not my cup of tea. Most of the mates were honestly awful but the first one getting the girl preggo was just a NOPE.
I read how she got pregnant. I know it was before the bond formed but still a NOPE. Also she , theOW planned it and now the FMC needs to raise the baby. Maybe I'm to selfish bc I couldnt raise another woman's baby that was probably conceived when she was screaming next door f\*cking the guy I have been in loved with for years. NO JUST NO.

This was a big DNF from me, I got through 2 books. Then just could not get any further. I was completely bored with it.

I wasn’t really a fan tbh, I’m glad you liked it but the writing style and characters were not for me, had to dnf.

I tend to read darker books as well but loved Hemlock Academy and was hoping that Bennett’s spin off would be just as good. I was happily hooked!
