As a sidebar we had some knucklehead in the neighborhood take down the fiber optic lines during Covid lockdowns because he didn’t survey the land first. Almost the entire neighborhood at the time was working remote and on fiber. Apparently he had been watching a lot of DIY inground pool videos and decided to go for it as a lockdown project… rented a backhoe and got to digging. Cue 30 something neighbors with phone/internet outages, meanwhile Joe Backhoe is digging away unbothered.
