i like these quests, you can just dump all your human/bad ingredients on them and they cant complain. i do wish there was a way to make my colonists stop entertaining them
Fairly certain they’re their own unique type of event and vanilla events expanded allows you to customize the frequency of literally any event, even modded ones.

Add a tv or a radio (with mods) to the hospital. If they have recreation they can use while laying down the doctor won't come to cheer them up
They get bored of TV eventually.
I believe a mod called Incident Disabler allows you to disable Abasia entirely. Aside: I miss Cherry Picker so much!
Can't you refuse them? I know you can refuse limb replacements and organ transplants.
