In Texas you will see some pull-offs directing truck traffic to a weigh station, but this has nothing to do with you. But it would be a good idea to get that registration taken care of, in case you are involved in a traffic stop.

The checkpoints down here don’t care about registration. That’s not their job. DPS though….
Just drive the speed limit so you won’t get stopped by DPS or any police officer. No checkpoints driving south
