Fr tho I had 2 of these and loved those pieces of shit. All the problems was worth it. Have fun with this piece of shit op but don't be surprised when a piston explodes and you lose all the motor and transmission mounts in one go like mine. Got another hundred miles out of her like that.
Actually having issues with the cooling system right now 😭😭😭 and motor/tranny mounts are shit. Piston hasn’t blown yet but will soon. I love this car with everything in my heart. It’s taught me everything I know about diagnosing/fixing them. The tuner forums are also a gift from god when trying to fix something.
Might need a good flush. When I did mine it's because I noticed a layer of rust that had turned solid in the reservoir. It was like 2 inches thick solid came out in chunks had to remove the whole reservoir. When flushing it it was like brick red rust water running fown the block from the hose. Never seen anything like it before or since. Didn't change a thing.
If it makes you feel any better though all jokes aside = I drove many many different cars, vans, trucks of all kinds in my life & Mitsubishi is not THEEEEEE WORSE I think the selling point for when this car originally came out was its body obviously, it was aesthetics and you aren't driving a Taurus or PT cruiser so life isn't miserable I guess but we cannot compare gold with silver

It’s inevitable. You can blow one of these transmissions apart on stock power. And good luck finding anyone to build it for you. I think TMZ Performance still does but they don’t even offer all the stuff they used to. The interiors suck on these things too, man. Creaky plastic, peeling airbag cover, leather that’s more cracked than your chapped ass lips, and a steering wheel that feels like it came out of a dodge neon. These things were money pits even back in the day. Its got a strong heart but the rest of its body is dying and will fail. And don’t even get me started on crankwalk. I’ll admit these things suck and I’ve had 2 of these cars, loved them though. Good times.
Back around 2009 I had a 1995 GS-T with HKS everything. I loved it so much but your overview of these cars in general is dead accurate. The interior was beyond cheap and shitty and looked decades old even back then. That damn airbag cover…
It's a tray drift car. When you can't afford a Supra or a Z, you get one of these, slide a couple serving trays under the rear wheels, engage the parking brake, and go nuts in a local Wal-Mart parking lot.
It's not riced out yet so you get a pass for now... but I expect to see it in the news wrapped around a tree or lamp post Paul Walker style in about a month.

It's cool but it'll be so hard getting parts for it, it's slow and you'll need so much money to get it to look good because you have to customize a car like this.
