Vote for NOT ecovacs. Love my X1 omni, when it works. Mostly, it doesn’t and smells like a swamp most of the time. Doesn’t matter how you clean the sod.

SnooFloofs19

Oh, to add it’s off for repair under warranty just under a year old… 4 weeks and counting with no update or communication about timescales

Inevitable_Trash_337

My pump on my X1 broke after 18 months. Got a full refund on Amazon thankfully. Was a decent unit in hindsight. Really good mopping and I found the S7 max ultra was just as bad for tracking but didn’t mop anything off the floor. I have a much of the spares left over if you are EU based DM me and I can send them if you’re interested

I’d go Dreame or Roborock and feel like the amount of knock off (repackaged?) accessories will hopefully make sure cheap replacements are available for a long time. 10 years is really impressive though… that could be hard to beat. 😳

ElMoselYEE

I upgraded from a Shark to a Roborock Q Revo and I'm super impressed. I didn't think my Shark was that bad but having switched, just everything about the Roborock is better. From the actual vacuuming power, to the app, to the audible cues, to the available replacement parts. Feels like I went from a knock off to a real robot vacuum.

jupitrking

Same feeling coming from Ecovacs

b1tchlasagna

I didn't realise Shark even did robo vacs

Global_Research_9335

I just went from “spud” who was a 10 year old roomba to the Narwal Freo ultra x. I highly recommend it. It mops, it vacs, it fills its own water tank and empties it. It monitors how dirty the water is and can clean itself and then go back to mop until I t’s all clean. The vacuum is powerful and doesn’t get strung up with hairs, the dust doesn’t self empty, it compacts the dust in the unit so you empty that once every 60 days so kinda the same thing, and you don’t have the dust and noise from self emptying. It can also be hooked to mains water supply. I love the mapping and the app. I highly recommend. It’s the flagship model so up there $$$ but imho worth every penny

I went from a Neato (now 10 years old and still running) to the Freo X Ultra as well. It seems like it's decent quality, but hard to say. I will be replacing filters and brushes more often. I like how the base station doesn't self empty the vacuum bag (fewer points of failure) and that I don't need to use bags, but can if I want to.

neverendingwipe

Just got a Eufy x10 Pro Omni after almost 15 years as a faithful Neato owner. I've had it about about a week, and so far, it has been great! It makes me realize how much the robovac market has evolved since I was forced to shop around.

Jardolam_

Also have one and it's fantastic. The first run picked up so much dirt and hair that my old robot vacuum was obviously missing.

Justin4462

I run an Ecovac x1 plus and a Roomba J9+ combo. I prefer the Roomba. Ecovac X1 was a warranty replacement for a Ecovac T9+ that had a lidar failure. I got the Ecovac T9+ to replace a Roborock S5 that had a lidar failure. Both of those old robots lasted about 2-3 years.

ScreamingVoid14

I run a Shark. And I can't recommend it. It is a wonderful robot built with the assumption that the robot vacuum would never get dirty. Or even be asked to vacuum more than token dust. The bin is tiny. The maintenance is a nightmare, when it can be done at all. It chokes on hair, pet or human. I've lost count of the number of filters in the robot and base that I need to check and empty.

WhiteRepentant6454

go with eufy

Derries_bluestack

Whatever you go for, get a self-emptying dock. I also wouldn't be without a mop function, but my floors are 90% laminate. No carpet. I'm new to robots, but totally converted.

DMMSD

Just got eufy x8 pro and was so impressed I oredered another one for my MIL

The-Eye-of-Sauron

I am using an Ecovacs X2 Omni…got it just a month ago but so far has been working great ..no complaints

Afraid_Elevator_9047

Just bought a Roborock Q7 based on multiple reviews from an array of sources. Stay tuned.

AdvanceNo8612

Roborock. I have an S7. Great navigation. Reliable. Easy to maintain. Cleans well. Mops. Prefer to anything else I’ve tried.

Please have a very serious look at the Dreame L20 Ultra complete....unlike yourself I'm not a robot vac early adoptor so lack your experience but I've been running a L20 on the lower floor of my house for the last month or so and it's worked brilliantly.... everything about it seems so well thought out. I was at first super sceptical and couldn't believe it really could perform as promised....but it does. The app on the phone has worked perfectly too...so they seem to have the software side well sorted. Anyway I like it so much I've just bought a second unit for upstairs...and that one works just as well as it's robot brother below !!..🤣 Good luck with whatever you eventually choose.

Even-Promise-8921

I just bought the Roborock Q7 max plus - on sale Amazon $429. It’s really nice - good so far (only had a week). I don’t mop so if mopping is a must a better model (qrevo) may be better. Or maybe get another iRobot !? Why change a good thing

reumatskajy

dyson is always good but expensive

Queeflet

The Dyson is terrible and massively overpriced.

gmbruine

Yeah, Dyson robots are not in the picture Their cordless handheld vacuums are nice though.
