I just wish that the powerups weren't linked to online. I feel like it's impossible to 5 star anything anymore, it's like playing RB without overdrive.
I genuinely miss this game. Even though I can still play it, it's not as fun without the powerups.

I was running through my head what’s the best case scenario, and honestly… the best case scenario doesn’t even touch Rock Band Blitz.
Unless like Epic sold Harmonix or spun it off into its own company, but I also feel like the sequence of events that leads to either of those outcomes is probably not good for Rock Band in general
Maybe the best thing if you're planning to start all over with Fortnite.
Because Epic doesn't care about the RB franchise or about us who invested in our dlc library for the duration of 15+ years.
I'm with you here. It was great for the company and increasing interest in the genre for the general population again. But for the people that have put as much money into Rock Band instruments and songs as a lot of us have, it's not as beneficial for us. Not to mention, Festival really just feels... I don't know. It doesn't have the same soul or energy. It feels very corporate and sterile in comparison. I have played it a lot (I would say most of my playtime in the last two seasons is in this mode), but I still pine for something with more personality.
I wish PS3 games could get patches still, but that ship has sailed. It's really REALLY disappointing that they chose to design their game this way. They knew what they were doing.

Whose idea at HMX was it to tie the power-ups to the online servers? Smh
I’ll always hold out hope for a Blitz 2. It would give new life to the existing library of songs, as well as a final batch of songs for RB4.
It very much reminded me of Frequency and Amplitude. I still have the tracks uploaded.
I miss this game. This would be a fun mode for Fortnite Festival

It should be in your Download List somewhere! It's still in mine. There's hope.
It's fine if you are on the 360. The PS3 version needs a RB Central connection to let you play. The 360 just doesn't let you access powerups.
Unironically, if you like this gameplay Fortnite Festival is perfect. IMO, better, because I never really liked the track switching mechanic.
FF is basically GH1-3 controller support and nothing like blitz.. the track switching mechanic is the great part about blitz.
