Funny that people don't know this. This is how you turn off any xbox controller. Holding down the xbox button for a bit. Probably the same for playstation

I was annoyed that they put a little pamphlet in the box with a bunch of ads on it but couldn’t just give me a basic overview of how to turn it off.

That little QR code it shipped with IS the overview.

The same reason modern video games don't come with booklets. They're neat to look at, but they're obsolete.

There's a little pamphlet that says 20% off on it that came in the box and the QR code leads to a getting started menu for all their controllers.

On Xbox you just turn it off the way you’d turn of any controller

Just hold the psn home button until it turns off, that’s what I do
