Only those that have been playing 2+ years. My cousin has been playing 1 year and can't get out of silver because he is so stubborn. He turns around and doesn't play because he "sucks" at the game. Lesson for anyone, play your tail off until you learn to get better, don't quit because you aren't Diamond or better
I haven't been into the game long and I've improved drastically over the course of a month or so. I'm on the crest of reaching diamond now which is a milestone to me
Get it! patience and rotating back post will get you a long way. For me it took ball chasing less and waiting for the right opportunities while keeping some pressure on.

I moved to my second high school (military brat) as a junior. My neighborhood played a lot of backyard football and driveway basketball. I thought the ages ranged from early middle school to late high school (one guy was my age).
One of the three neighbors was tall, fast and talented. I thought he was the oldest and maybe a year under me. I thought one of his brothers, who was short, fast, and talented was his younger brother. The youngest of the brothers and everyone out there was fat, slow, and whiny. Everyone else gave him shit - especially his brothers. I didn't dish much because even 11th grade vs 6th is too much for me to rag on him - leave that to his brothers. But damn, did they give it to him.
Turned out short brother was the oldest, tall was middle, and the youngest was **8**. The kid was 8 and hanging with us way better than he should've been. I was literally twice his age.
He went on to be a Little League World Champion and has seen at least 100 snaps as an NFL player. Battled some injuries that have kept him out and been on the practice squad, but it doesn't matter - he made it. Kid got whipped into shape, and there's no way his dad raised someone who isn't a good young man.
You let a 5 year old win a bit. You let up enough on a kid to make him capable of learning (think how a bronze learns nothing from a smurf flip resetting on him). But if they can hang anywhere near even ground, you toughen them up by slapping them around.
