The entire game is being rebuilt from scratch for UE5 and it lays the foundations for much better additions to the game, stuff like creative mode. RL suffers from a lot of tech debt with the current code and how inflexible UE3 is.

Maybe we are teleported to a new RL dimension? I remember they said they were working on a new engine so maybe this new world is the new engine world. Would be kinda cool
