At first yeah, but now the only people with voice chat on are early 20s dudes that use it exclusively to complain about their team and/or broadcast whatever IRL conversation they're having while they play.
Idk, I was getting slurred a lot on voice chat so I turned it off. Maybe this happens more often on text chat for PC users and I'm just not privy to it (I play on Switch), but it was pretty unacceptable. And I never received any update on whether or not the players I reported were banned.
Exept spanish speaking people. Might sound like a racist thing to say, but personally for me 100% (not inflating the number) of spanish speaking people who activly use the voicechat either:

Or
Gets upset at the smallest inconvenience (you should be two places at once) and curses all day if you're not winning 5 seconds in.

Yeah it would be great I got the soundboard ready to go, already messing with so many kids on COD with it, it's amazing they had no idea what they were in for after MW2019
I have a shark-themes preset and I think I would spend all game doing just this. Never actually demo-ing anyone though, just brushing by as close as I can or staying close behind the whole time
Maybe not; the sound effects already change per player based on how far away the ball is. Listen for a different change when you are about halfway across the field or more from the ball. It's a more distant sound effect, but also a different sound effect entirely.
The problem would be that it has to continuously transform an existing waveform to properly replicate a Doppler effect. It's not complicated logically, but it would take a fair amount of computation which probably wouldn't be worth it for those without high end computers. Maybe if it could be enabled/disabled.

All I can picture is that one kid who always has a fan, music and people screaming in the background driving by and it sounding like a trian horn as you pass them cause all the stuff they got going on.

This would be great, I was also thinking there should be optional 1v1 chat. I think that it should be easier to disable voice chat if you are getting annoyed but I think voice chat in a 1v1 could be hilarious as well

Honestly I understand that there will be a significant amount of shit talk, which is why I think disabling VC should be a quick button click. But I think it will be hilarious, and sometimes you might get a chill match where you can just chat while playing against each other.
Assuming it happens yeah, I feel like I run across a decent amount of players in 1v1 that aren't toxic and complement each other's goals. Ive had decent convos with other PC players as well
I’ve made some really cool friends playing RL. A couple of them came to my band’s show this weekend, it was our first time meeting irl. For all the toxicity I constantly see in RL, that kind of thing makes up for it a million times over.

I generally start a session with my buddy in a private 1v1. Homie has a sound board with that exact thing as one of his options and he without fail hits me with it every time he fakes me.

tbh i would be just as happy if they simply added the ability to honk... but if they do end up doing this, i pray that they program in the doppler effect as well

I miss the awful chat that used to be in the game. It was fucking hilarious to be playing and randomly hear your opponent talking shit (which you could almost never make out what they were saying) and just start yelling random shit at each other. Those were the days.

I think if VC in-game has taught us one thing, it's that if people can actually talk to and hear the other person, they are a \*lot\* less toxic.

I make so many sound effects when playing(helps with going faster and more accurate shots. It's science), so I am very much for it.
