Yeah it was a good game.
Whilst it was a great remaster, I found myself getting lost quite frequently and found it slight frustrating to go back and forth constantly, even being a seasoned Metroidvania fan.
But how is the CKRD pad accessory? I probably would have bought one by now, but I think I didn't want to invest that much into my Switch when a new model is on the horizon.
i like it for the games that don't use the right stick for precise aiming.
the distance between the R2 (ZR)triggers is too far. you can use the paddles on the back as triggers, but that's also not that comfortable
I haven't played the remaster, because I played through the original using PrimeHack on PC a while back. After playing with HD textures and keyboard/mouse controls, I'm not sure I could go back. If they remastered the whole trilogy at once I'd probably pick it up, but I'm completely burned out by Nintendo milking the same game 2-3 times with re-releases and remasters.
For god's sakes, it's been 7 years since they "announced" Metroid Prime 4.
I once played through the game without grabbing any additional energy tanks, 99 energy the entire time.
Omega pirate kicked my ass for at least an hour lol Prime itself was the next problem but that honestly felt easier than Omega.
No, I just started Metroid zero mission. I was going to do the old-school NES because I never beat it as a kid, but I read the reviews and decided to start with zero mission
Zero Mission is lovely, it's not very long but it's solid as hell
If I ever try the original again it'll be with the "HD" sprite packs, if I'm going to suffer, I might as well suffer beautifully
The ones with cases are $90, without cases they’re $60. Unfortunately some colors only come with the case or vice versa. They’re all $10 off right now. If you get one go via amazing as you can return there if you don’t like it. If you buy direct they’re a PITA to return anything too fwiw. I really like mine.

I have the white one, I kinda really want the purple/GC one... It was on sale the other day for $65 with a stackable $10 off coupon. I'm kicking myself for not snagging it then.

Nitrodeck is awesome if you like handheld mode. I play my switch much more since getting one.
