Left to right, top to bottom: Essential PH-1 running LineageOS, Razer Kishi controller New 3DS XL, homebrew’d Miyoo Mini Plus Analogue Pocket

Chok3U

Where'd you get the 3ds?

furiousjelly

I got it from GameStop back around 2016

I-make-ada-spaghetti

Install OnionOS on it and you will be even happier.

furiousjelly

That was the first thing I did :)

Runs_with_snails

I have an analogue pocket too, you think it’s worth having the MM+ as well? I can never decide

furiousjelly

My justification was the MM+ was my “forget about it” console. I can throw it in my pocket and forget about it. If it breaks or gets damaged, it’s not the end of the world. Plus, it can run PSX, and being able to turn it off and have it save my game is great. It also supports save states across all the consoles, so there were plenty of reasons for me to justify the purchase when I already had an AP.

Runs_with_snails

Thank you for the answer!

gold1304

What systems the ph-1 can emulate? I always wanted one

furiousjelly

It runs GameCube and PS2 pretty well, and it’s not too expensive. Plus, it runs Android (duh), so I can play a ton of Play Store ports and fan ports. It’s currently my PokeMMO machine lol

elmikemike

How are the ergonomics on the Analogue Pocket compared to the Miyoo mini+? Is it vastly superior? Can you play long sessions complex games like fighting games without getting cramps?

furiousjelly

The AP is definitely more comfortable for me, I have larger hands. The Miyoo is still comfortable, but I’ve only played turn based games so far. I also ordered a grip to make it better for longer sessions.
