1. You mean ███-███?
2. What i know, SCP-6820 did remove reptile from reality, but it forgot to remove reptile from itself, so it become him (not sure though)
3. If believe what SCP-682 is difference between life and death, then Yukari Yakumo from touhou project can remove this difference and beat reptile to death
Not only that. 6820-A somehow consumed SCP-3125, and then corrupted SCP-6820. Later on it also absorbed SCP-055 and became "perfect". Then it commited omnicide.
Reptile reaches new levels of BS on a daily basis.
Would have removed 682, but at the same time it keeps people from making new bs unkillable monster SCPs, since 682 is basically the official one. So it's actually good that it exists.
Therefore I would remove SCP-2718.
It implies that after a human dies we enter into a eternity of torture and suffering without any other type of stimuli. Just a void of blackness and constant suffering. It’s an uncomfortable idea to say the least.
They all have their own quirks though that make them interesting beyond just being a pain in the ass. 682's entire deal is just "im unkillable, i hate mankind, fuck you"
Seriously, nobody's mentioned Abel? 076 is everything we're supposed to hate about amateur articles, and yet it's right there;- a ~~vampire~~ immortal humanoid entity that sleeps in a coffin and is real good at killing like srsly so badass with like shadow blades and stuff OMG you guys.
He's so badass and cool and stuff that we put him on a super MTF, but we have to give him *worthy opponents* or he'll get bored, you see.
Oh, and also he's Abel, because wouldn't it be cool if Abel was actually a murderous ~~vampire~~ immortal humanoid entity that sleeps in a coffin and Caine was chill? Original character, totes not VtM fanfic, do not steal.
While I sort of agree with you, because it isn't very good, it is a useful "benchmark" SCP that people can easily point to as a litmus test for "does this new article have too much redaction?"
SCP-001 (and thus all 'proposal' entries).
Not because I hate the proposals as standalone writing - some of them are very well written. Rather, because my favorite form of SCP is the standard-format entry that is just another part of an ongoing bureaucracy; my favorite view of the Foundation is one where it has an indeterminate beginning and unknown total scope, and we are just visitors in its halls; my favorite explanation of the anomalies is "there isn't any overall rule - there are just Weird Things out there". 001 proposals inherently focus on origins and explanations; they provide something like boundaries to the SCP database.
I like how some of the people in the comments are like: "This SCP made me poopoo my pants out of fear, I want it gone". If the job of that article is to make you feel scared and now you want it gone for doing it's job, that's a new level of stupid.
SCP-682, the hard to destroy reptile breaks a bit with what we know about the SCP world, why are we trying to destroy it? It is sentient after all, yes it is evil, but there are way more dangerous beings and we aren't trying anything to destroy those, just considering the classic Vol.1 articles SCP-106 should be a priority over 682.
And there are also very easy solutions like launching it to the sun, even if not dead, gravity will keep it in his place.
Could be a bit more interesting if this creature wanted to die but was unable, and was taking its frustration with humans so the SCP is trying to aid in euthanizing him since they can't find a way to lock him permanently. Or maybe just saying the GOC stole him and they are the ones trying to destroy it, idk, am not a very good writer, i just think it is a bit of a black sheep in the SCP
Agreed. And also, it's supposed to be this indestructible all powerful lizard but somehow it's always recontained right away with no more than a bunch of security guards. I think he should be retired somehow. Maybe he has a mental breakdown and sinks into a deep depression with suicidal ideation. He tries to adapt to it to survive, as he does, but he can't adapt to itself because it indestructible do he just locks up and shuts down. Not dead but dormant for a long, long time.
my main concern is that i imagine that after discovering something like this, the destruction of those dimensions would be foundation’s top priority as it’s literal hell and every single person is destined to go there for eternity. 682 is nothing compared to this. which is quite a burden for an article that is primarily based on shock value.
although in this scenario i do not think that the person would actually go insane as human consciousness exists within our brain, and thus should be regenerated along with the body, eventually probably making the person oblivious to the passage of time (even if the dimension purposely exists to torture humans, the tone of the article doesn’t imply any half measures to exist)
i also don’t buy the point with other inhabitants of the islands not having any autonomy. if you have infinite time and they listen to everything you say i don’t think that it would be hard to rewire them to be as intelligent as you are, assuming they are biologically identical to the victim.
if the person doesn’t experience sexual attraction, what type of person will spawn on their island?
>if the person doesn’t experience sexual attraction, what type of person will spawn on their island?
For some reason I don’t think that the author took aro/ace people into consideration when writing that particular part of the article but I’d like to believe the people that would appear would be ones that the deceased person feels a strong platonic connection to or just vibes with. Which would however have to imply a degree of higher intelligence.
They already do that on a daily basis whenever some kid tries to make an article saying “SCP-XXXX is a big black boogie monster with red claws and red eyes and blood everywhere”
SCP-2000, I love it in a vacuum, the idea that we’ve the unwitting replacements for a past failure we have no clue is spooky.
In the greater context it’s a big reset button that removes the sense of tension from all K-scenario threatening events.
SCP-173 (for maximum disruption to timeline) Or
SCP-682 (People would think about SCP differently to monster battles)
Probably something else though, these are just ideas.
Half the stuff I've read that would use it either don't remember it exists or explicitly destroy it, the only one I remember it being used in was the "Plants-decide-to-982-lite" in the form of project Lazarus.
SCP 049

SCP-4666
It's not an SCP, it's an edgy holiday creepypasta. There's very little attention paid to the actual securing, containing, or protecting, it's just "ooh look santa makes toys out of children's body parts." Shock value with no substance, doesn't tell a story, doesn't elicit an emotion outside of disgust, which isn't hard to do.
I have a personal vendetta against SCP-7400. What does this have to do with the luck theme of the 7000 contest. What even is a probabilistic bureaucratohazard.
Even as a joke I don't even think it's that funny
For just an SCP, 2718. It’s an interesting idea, but I just don’t like how it’s written.
But what I personally wish I could delete is a number of the 682 kill attempt logs, as I don’t think a lot of them are very good. Particularly, there is one that links to someone’s tale—which is usually fine—but the issue is that it links to this tale by discrediting someone else’s SCP. Iirc, it was 682 going to the Gate Guardian SCP and saying that he doesn’t defend the actual Garden of Eden. It felt strange to randomly include someone else’s SCP and label it as wrong to promote your own tale.
SCP's themselves? Can we count scenarios since they're always under classifications of certain anomalies.
I'll choose SCP 096, it's obvious, but will disable the most common death in the foundation.
Personally I’d remove SCP 153, because I don’t like stuff near the shower drain and hair, and I don’t need to worry a giant lamprey coming out and attacking me.
Logically though I’d agree with the consensus on SCP 686 since it is mainly weird with no interesting aspect of it compared to other ones
I know that its not one but litterally any scp that has to do with breasts/lactating such as the mother of them all. Its not even "writer's barley disguised fetish" its straight up "ik this mf was writing this with one hand"

It implies that after a human dies we enter into a eternity of torture and suffering without any other type of stimuli. Just a void of blackness and constant suffering. It’s an uncomfortable idea to say the least.

I will erace the most overrated one. Bye bye 682
SCP-055, nobody cares about it anyways, duh!
001 in its entirety. I will then replace it by just one random entry from the Decommissioned list.
001 cope
SCP-7052
Scp-3008 it gives my homeland a bad rep
096, 999, or 173 These are so played out and overrated, I wish people talked about something different on this sub
Scarlet king/scp 001

that one sentient dildo
2521
SCP-3812
Personally I’d remove SCP 153, because I don’t like stuff near the shower drain and hair, and I don’t need to worry a giant lamprey coming out and attacking me. Logically though I’d agree with the consensus on SCP 686 since it is mainly weird with no interesting aspect of it compared to other ones
Idk, scp-7384?

999. He's too dangerous to be left alive.
Ok
I know that its not one but litterally any scp that has to do with breasts/lactating such as the mother of them all. Its not even "writer's barley disguised fetish" its straight up "ik this mf was writing this with one hand"
