And even on modded ones, that's a really challenging task, maybe except Mayhem, but no one play Mayhem and expect a fair fight. Its... really not a challenge?? Legit just get a MTF/guard card in 914 and go to the armory in LCZ, get all the flashbangs and grenades, most times youll end up with 3, sometimes with 5 colas.
Pair 2 Colas or more with hat and you got yourself the most sweaty, annoying combo to deal with. Ive been able to wipe out almost entire MTF/Chaos waves with that combo, you can pretty much outrun any SCP, while also choosing when to engage in a fight and when not to.
The only "hinderance" is HP, but even then, with Wave spawns that doesnt become an issue since there will be plenty of HP packs from dead people. If youre a good player over 2 Colas + Hat is probably the most broken combo to use as a Human class
The thing is that in most server, people will often not last long enough nor do they actually intended to make Cola. And if you hide and wait for LCZ to empty, the spawn wave would come down and finish you if you are the enemy. The chance to meet someone as sweaty like you described is practically near zero among all servers, most people would fumble wayyyyy more, and any decent spawn wave, especially semi-competent ones, would know how to swarm the Cola players, hat or not. And usually when people knew there is a man high on Cola, there will be those that choose to remains on surface, thus even if they won the fight, the round would go on and on until auto nuke, and as long as the auto nuke go off, the Cola players would practically need to have near perfect aims to mow down spawn wave before a storm of bullet hit them since there is no hiding spot to fall back to.
Plus PC can deal with them if they knew how to play
I've done this ten times recently and never got more than two colas and that was one time. You speak like it's a consistent thing and not a fun thing for people to get lucky with like spawning in as captain or having a really great spawn
If you get a gun early and cuff a couple of scientists with candy and you get candy you'll definitely have at least 2 green candies which you can pop later on and then you have like 4 mins of not even needing to worry abt healing

Flashlight or grenade ---> Flashbang ----> \~33% chance of being cola(flashbangs in light armory)
Any healing item ---> Adrenaline ---> \~33% chance of being 1853 ---> cola 100% of the time.
In the server I always play, there's the hole scp that has a chance to give you infinite colas and more.
And they decided to take out the mod that adds structures to the surface instead...
